I make it to Makoto's house and saw two black cars in the front I knew from the moment I got to the front door something was wrong. The door was partially open, all I could see was the couch where Makoto's mom and dad were sitting and crying. I push open the door and run up to his mom. His mom has been like a mom to me and to see her like this kills me "what's wrong?" she pulled me into a hug and drenched my shirt with tears. "hunny, you might want to sit down." When she said this I expected the worst, that they had already gotten to Makoto."Makoto is missing. Since everyone from your swim group is gone the police think he is dead. Do you have any idea to where he is?" the moment she said this I broke down. They have gotten to him; I was too late. "look kid I am going to have to take you to the station for questioning." I was hysterical "(y/n) we know you didn't do it but they just need to ask you a few questions." I nodded and walked to the front and got into the cars with the officers.
