I woke up to the sun shining on me, except I was moved. I was in the arms of Andrew, as I moved to get up. He woke, and he winced back, until he fell over the log into the lake. I ran over to the lake to see if he was ok.

"Hey, what's your problem, Andrew?! Your arms around me?! What did you do to me?!"

"I had a nightmare last night. You were walking with me down the road with me, all of a sudden the orphanage directors came. They grabbed you and dragged you away. I couldn't let them, they threatened your life, and I wasted it. I watched you die in front of my eyes, I couldn't move and help you. I just stood there, I couldn't let that happen to you. So, when I woke up, I wrapped my arms around you, to keep you safe. I promise, I wouldn't hurt you in that way."

"Good, because if I find out you did something to me, I'll hurt you."

"Ok."

"I wish I never came with you in the fir--."

He bent over and kissed me, I think I was hooked now. He was just so charming with his looks and flirtatious mixture. We packed up camp and started down a hill, leading from the trail. We heard carriages down in the woods, The sound was a mixture of crunching leaves and breaking branches. We ignored them for a second, but then I suddenly stopped.

I had recognized the carriage. A nice cream-colored oak, which it was made out of, and a seat made of blue slik. It was my father's carriage, except there was a piece missing.  Where was my red ribbon that I put on there before he died? The ribbon that once hung from the carriage was now torn.

"Allie, are you alright?"

I heard Andrew sneak up behind me. I didn't speak, I was too heart-broken to explain.

"I'm alright, we should keep moving before the sunsets."

"Allie, I still have no idea where we should set up. This place is just to public because of trading routes."

"Hold on, I'll have a look around, before you start making accusations."

I looked around the tethered, old forest. I saw not even clear ground because of the leaves. I started to walk a little further down the hill, but still nothing. Then something glimmered as I turned, I saw a little shack a little further out of sight. That might be a good place to settle for the night.

"Andrew, over there."

"What, I don't see anything."

"To your left."

Instead of turning left, he turned right. I could already tell that this solider had some issues with telling of which is right and which is left.

 "Your other left, dummie."

"Hey you watch it, Allie. I didn't come all this way to be sassed around."

"Me? Sassy? I don't believe so, doesn't sound like me."

"Oh, forget it, I can see it now."

"Fine, that game was getting boring anyway."

"You thought that was a game? To me, that game was just plain ignorant."

"Well, I'm sorry. If I had a book, things would be a little more interesting."

"Maybe, when we get down to the shack, there will be at least a library in it."

"Ok. Let's get moving then."

                                            *********************************************************

We had already started the fire when something caught my eye. As I went into the shack, I heard a cry. I opened the door to the house, I was shocked of what I had saw.

"Andrew! Get in here!"

"What is it now? What, another spider?"

As he walked to the door, his sarcastic expression disappeared into thin air. The saddened look on his face, hurt my soul.

In the house, there was a whole dead family. All murdered. There was a mother, father, 3 boys, and a British admiral. I heard the cry again, as I wept on the floor, I got up to find the noise.

Behind a curtain, hidden was a little girl. Beautiful brown hair, green eyes as dark as the grass, and wrapped in the blanket two tiny adorable little hands. There was a note set on the basket, it read:

Dear Finder,

Please take care of my daughter Aria. I have a short time until I die from blood loss. If anyone finds this note, and she is still living. Please take her with you and raise her as her own. If you find her, and she is dead. Please leave her body with the rest of us.

The supplies you need is in the top drawer of the dresser. Please treat her well. She loves when you sing to her, and likes when you take her for a walk near the harbor. Thank you and good luck.

Thank you,

"Andrew! Hurry over here!"

"What did you find?"

As he walked near the baby, he smiled as happy as bunny eating a carrot . He picked her up and twirled her around, like he was her father.

"Can we keep her, Andrew? If we leave her, she'll die."

"Of course, I wouldn't leave a helpless baby here."

"Her name is Aria."

"Aria...So pretty. Do you mind if we change her name?"

"Do you have something else in mind?"

"Yes, Abby."

"Well I guess that'll do. It seems as pretty as Aria. I'll keep it, what do you think, Aria."

Allie tickled the baby's cheek and she laughed. I guess she did like the name, it fit her figure.

"I'll sleep now. I'll take her with me."

"Ok, are you sure you got it Allie?"

"I'm fine, in the orphanage, I had to look after the little ones all the time. They never stopped squirming."
