Katie's P.O.V.

I woke up on the couch. Lulu was laying on the floor, and Josh was laid across the kitchen table. Naturally, I had to take a picture of it. Maybe I'll show him it later, maybe not.

Of course I'll send it to Lulu first.

As I was taking the picture of him, Lulu woke up.

"What's up Girl Scout" I said.

"What's up" she said sitting up.

"What the world, why is Josh laying across the table" she said.

"That's what I was thinking" I chuckled.

"I'm taking a picture of this" she said.

"Already did" I said.

"Send it to me" she said.

"Already did" I said.

"Oh" she said checking her phone. We both have the iPhone 5s. Josh has the 4s

"You wanna wake him up" I said.

"Nah, I'm good" she said laying back down.

"Fine, I'll wake him up" I said walking over to him,"WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP!!" I yelled in his ear.

He jumped so high, that he touched the sky.

"Are you ok" I said helping him up.

"Yeah I'm fine but, why did you yell in my ear" he said.

"To wake you up, duh" I said.

"What do you have for breakfast" he said changing the conversation.

"Cereal" I said.

"Ok" he said pulling it out.

"YES!! It's Cinnamon Toast Crunch!!" I said grabbing a big bowl.

Another fun fact about me, I eat a lot.

"Don't take all the cereal" said Lulu walking in.

"You better hurry up, before it's gone, then" I said.

We all poured our cereal and sat down, at the dining room table.

"So, when do you know that you made it or not?" I said.

"They said sometime around 1 o'clock" Lulu said.

"Do they tell you if you don't make it, or do you not get an email?" I said.

"You just don't get an email" she said.

"Oh" I said.

"What are we gonna do all the way to 1? It's only 7:33" said Josh.

"We could have a funny face competition!! Here I'll go first" I said.

I made this really ugly derp face. They laughed and we finished eating cereal.

"Seriously, what are we going to do?" he said.

"I was serious. We should have a funny face-" I said.

"We're not doing that" Lulu said cutting me off.

"Well then, what do you have?" I said.

"We should go to the pool. It is the summertime" she said.

"Ok" I said.

We all agreed on to the pool. They put on their swimwear, and I met them out there. I don't wear bathing suits, so I put on spandex shorts and a T-shirt. I grabbed some snacks, and met them out by the pool.

"Hey Katie!!" Said a friend of mine.

"Hey Madie!!" I said giving her a hug.

"Are you here with anybody" she said.

"Yeah, Lulu and Josh" I said.

"Oh cool, well, did you hear that 5sos is looking for a makeup artist" she said.

"Yes!! I sent in a video" I said excitedly.

"So did Mandie" she said motioning to over where she was by the pool.

"Hey Katie" she with a devilish smile on her face.

"Oh, hey Mandie" I said in a monotone voice walking over with her.

I've hated Mandie since kindergarten.

"I understand you sent in a video too?" she said.

"You're comprehending things finally? I'm proud of you" I said.

"You don't even wear makeup" she snapped.

"So? You're point?" I snapped back.

"Then why did you send in a video?" she said.

"Because I want to meet 5sos" I said.

"Well no shit" she said.

We glared at each other for a while. I could tell she was thinking of her next words.

"Well, may best makeup artist win" she said standing up looking down at me.

"You're on" I said standing up, towering over her from our height difference.

I don't get intimidated by people. I turned away and walked back to where Madie was.

"Well, see you later Madie" I said.

"Later, good luck on the competition. I really hope you win" she said. Then I went over with Josh and Lulu.

"What was that all about" they said.

"Just Mandie, failing to intimidate me" I said sitting down.

"Oh" they said.

"I really like your bathing suit" I said to Lulu.

"Thank you" she said.

She jumped into the water swimming around. I sat my phone down, and went to sit my feet in water, swishing them around.

"Are you going to get in Josh?" I said.

I turned around and he was knocked out cold.

It is early in the morning.

I checked the time and it was only 9:46. Why can't it just be 1 o'clock already. I say my phone back down, going back swishing my feet around in the water. I'm not really type of person to get all the way in. I guess because I don't wanna get my clothes wet.

Until all of a sudden. SPLASH!! Lulu pulled me into the water. Scaring the soul out of my body.

"You scared the living daylights out of me" I said resurfacing.

"That was my intention" she said.

Usually I would get out to dry my clothes, but I thought why not, and stayed in the water.

I swam around with Lulu. I love the pool so much. It's so soothing. After a while of swimming, we got out of the pool. I checked the time and it was 12:59!!

"It's 12:59!" I said waking up Josh.

He sat up and we all diverted our eyes to my phone screen.

The clock turned to 1 and my heart skipped a best.

I got the email......THEY CHOSE ME!!!
