Congrats to MortalElizabeth for being the inspiration for this snippet!
I'm on a role tonight! Please vote and comment if you want a full draft version of the Chronicles to start taking shape.
So you get to see Elizabeth introduced. What do you think people? Do you think...
1) Only someone Wolfprism will learn from
2) She's gonna carry over into the other parts of the chronicles
3) She's going to be cold with no weakness
4) It's all a lie, she's probably just like Tara with masking her emotions
5) She has selfish intentions to taking Tara under her own wing

Emotions were weakness here. I learned that from the first minute. Looking into Elizabeth’s dark eyes, I realized what had become of my fate. I really had myself admitted to the hunters.
Truth is, I wasn’t just here to look for Jason since he decided to be an angst teenager and rebel into dangerous realms. I heard of these hunters, Calla always was wary of them passing throughout the worlds. Hunters of Falling Darkness, they called themselves. I wasn’t fearful of them as I trained into the weapon I meant to be. Then again, I was cold and callous, not meant to feel any real emotion about killing.
I failed the day it all came to the test.
Even after I rebelled, I had stayed a cold warrior till I found Selena’s betrayal to me, finding that she had been helping Black all this time.
That’s a story for a different time and place. “Who will be my trainer?” I asked in respect as I bowed my head before the few leaders of the Hunters. The one I had particularly tracked down to join. I heard that if you pleased her, you only had one other to please before you’re accepted.
I was done with acceptance though. I wanted power, my control back. The ruthless warrior that I had been was yearning to come out again. I couldn’t help camp in the nature I was then. I was too benign in treaties at times from all the pressure. Camp was content with whatever worked for them.
Great, I was starting to think like Jason. Exactly what I needed at the moment.
Note sarcasm.
Elizabeth’s dark eyes became mysterious and intrigued as she simply said something that shocked me to the core. “I will be your specific teacher.”
It took all I could not to gape at her. From my research, the leaders rarely took on initiates. “It’s an honor,” I bowed again, deeper because she now had a new role known to me.
Don’t be fooled by the calm demeanor I had displayed then. Inside, I was a panicking mess, my emotions spinning wildly. I wasn’t exactly afraid, I was just alert. Too much so.
Elizabeth inclined her head as I regained my height and stared at her. “I’m sure Crimson showed you a tour.”
“Indeed he has,” I answered cooly, quite shocked I was pulling this off in front of her.
Proving myself to Golden was no real effort. That girl’s temper made it easy enough. She reminded me of someone I knew long ago, one of my old mentors. It was equal to say that she reminded me of someone who wanted me dead long ago.
“We can get right to training then,” Elizabeth said, her face showing an excited grin. If that thought got her happy enough to show some sort of emotion, it was something that was nearly going to kill me. Actually, it probably was going to.
A cold regal stride was present in Elizabeth’s walk as she led the way through the maze of the base. Cold eyes studied me and I didn’t let it daunt me. In a sort of way, it was camp all over again.
Excitement stirred in me as I thought of training to regain my control. There was simple desire to wanting myself as this person I once was.

Confidently, I followed until a voice entered my mind. “Don’t worry love, it’s only me.”
I really didn’t see that coming. Then again, Sebastian didn’t exactly play by the rules, changing his mindset so quickly that he’s one opponent I can never keep in one place. He certainly had a way of never being forgotten, Son of Hell and all.
The Son of Lust was a part of my past. As I advanced deeper and deeper into my existence, there was only one conclusion. He would always be there. We were intertwined in someway always. There was no shaking him. Past, Present, and Future.
He was the Son of Lust.
He was the other half of the Weapon.
He shared my soul till Jason came to save me.
Sebastian... Was my ex-fiancé
