Fall: Uncertain of What to Do

Chapter 5

Cheska's pov:
Nasa living room kami lahat, except for Jenn. Nandun siya sa room niya, may kinuha siguro. Yakap ako ni Minhyuk ngayon, kanina pa kasi ako naka-tulala. My demon form is trying to take over me. Not that I can't control it but still, it's not the right time to use it. Gab and Sungjae are resting on the other couch. Ella and Therese are crying, being comforted by Kai and Kyungsoo.

That's how all of us sisters look right now, miserable is an understatement. You might call us crazy for willing to kill our father but he left us with no choice. "I found mom's legacy book in my luggage." Jenn said. A legacy book is basically a book that contains every information of a vampire. A royal's legacy book is considered as a gift to her children.

Jenn sat in between us and opened the book 'causing it to show a bright blue gleam of light. 'The first must be for me....' I thought. My hair used to be a plain blue color like Gab's but it turned red 'cause of Minhyuk and Gab's had black highlights 'cause of Sungjae.

"Cheska-yah, mianhae.............I might be the most lacking mother. You took care of me more than I took care of you. Those first 9 months of me being pregnant got me and your dad so happy. Knowing that we'll be having twins made us even more happier. You've always been a good unnie to your sisters, especially to Jenn. I remember when Jenn was crying in her crib back then, you'd hop inside her crib and play with her. The first time you guys played in the snow, Gab threw a snowball at you causing you to cry. Aww............you look so adorable." I read mom's letter at the back of my childhood pics. All of us received our pics except for Jenn. 

M-moms crown?! It was the last one inside the book. The book is filled with magic and everything. The crown may be inside the pages of the book, but it can still be activated once the heiress touches it. We completely have no idea who the heiress is. Keys were on the pages as well as some sort of charms.
This book is seriously something.

Jenn's pov:
My eyes scanned through the ancient writings.............it seems weird but I think I understand it. "The heiress who was chosen will be the only one to place her finger in the elements; the crown, the charms, the elemental weapons and everything passed down by the ancestors.................the heiress will find the legendary book at the right time. A lot of dangers and trials she'll be passing through..................................that means now!" Everyone was shocked by my sudden shout. "What do you mean?" Mark asked. "I don't know but I was able to read the whole saying."

"You must be..........t-the heiress!"Gab unnie said. "Let's not come up with conclusions first." I said. "Let's try by age okay? We won't be able to activate the charms and everything else if we won't find the heiress." Cheska unnie said. She then placed her pointer finger on the gem below the crown. "Ow!" She squeaked. "What happened?" Minhyuk oppa asked. "Na-kuryente ako." She said fanning her finger. Gab unnie did the same. "Your turn Jenn." Mark said placing his hands over my shoulders.

"Okay....here goes." I placed my finger on the gem and a gleaming purple light surrounded the room. It calmed down a bit and the crown and everything else was floating around. A lady popped out the book, "Cory?!"
