The Child of Lilith (A Mortal Instruments/Avengers Crossover)

The Battle ~Chloe, Mariah~

~Chloe~

So we TOTALLY started the battle. I didn't care.

I rammed into a demon, spiraling into a flashback as I did.

-FLASHBACK-

Katia was lying on a bench as I ran into a werewolf. I didn't know her at the time, but I went up to her, held out a coffee, and said, "Welcome to the music, hell bent chick," and she gasped at my words. "Well, aren't you rude!" she exclaimed. I raised my eyebrows. "Honey, I am the definition of rude. Now let's get drunk!"

She said, "I don't want to. I'm underage," she said. I said, "If you are in Pandemonium, you can be both and nobody cares," she looked confused, but finally said yes. I told her my secret, that I was a warlock, and then she told me hers. We'd been besties ever since.

-END FLASHBACK-

I saw her appear, and stagger. I ran over to her and said, "Welcome to the music, hell bent chick," those same words I'd said all those years ago.

She grinned and took the stele I handed to her. "Well, aren't you rude!" she said, but smiled as she did. I repeated what I'd said then, but saying a few different words: "Honey, I am the definition of rude. Now let's kill demons!"

She pouted and said, "But I'm underage!" And, despite myself, I said, "If you are in a demon war, you can be both and nobody cares," and she laughed.

~Mariah~

I ran outside of my house in New York and froze. "Ah, hell," I said, saying what Zoey Redbird in MARKED by P.C Cast and Kristin Cast says whenever she doesn't want to curse. Outside I saw demons and people killing them.

I had a flashback.

*FLASHBACK*

"Seriously, Mika, we can't!" I protested. My sister laughed. "Come on. Scared of fighting?" And we'd left the house in chaos. Mika had been killed because of THEM and I had been saved from death from a kind witch- I mean warlock.

*END FLASBACK*

I sighed and ran back inside. Theresa didn't need me help.
