"Hey, there you are!" Katlynne waved her hand at me, already sitting down at a booth. I walked passed the front waiting area and sat down on the other side of the booth. I went to look through a menu when I realized there were none on the table. "Already ordered for us. How was you day?" Katlynne basically reading my mind as always.

"Good,"I replied. "I lost my sketch book though," I said stirring the soda Katlynne had ordered for me with my straw.

"No you didn't" she smiled.

"What?"Some guy walked into the studio today, asked for my name and gave it to me."She pulled out a black notebook and handed it to me."He also said something about you owe him a new shirt or something. Is there a little honey bunches of oats I should know about," she lifted her eyebrow playfully.

"God, no and stop using words like that. That language is a little too young for you."

"Ouch," she replied smiling.

"Wait how did he find you? And why give it to you not me?" I started to become very uncomfortable with the idea of this guy.

"Slow down there,Detective.Who is this dude? Cuz like he was hot and if you're into him I need to know otherwise I'm going after him," she winked even though I know she'd never go for someone like that. Whoever that guy was is defiantly not her type.

"Well I kinda ran into him this morning, like literally but I didn't catch his name. I find it creepy he found you." I admitted.

"I'm sure he just found it in the notebook. Member when I said it'd be a good idea to write down a number just in case you lost it but noooo you'd never lose that thing,so I put mine down instead?" sarcasm filled her voice.

"Fine fine ok yeah it's seemed kinda useful now."

"I love it when I'm right" she smirked.

"Yeah we'll I wouldn't get used to it," i shot back, playfully and she stuck her tongue out at me then put her lemonade to her lips.

"So how was your day?" I asked trying to change the subject. A bowl of soup and a pasta dish were set down in front of us. Katlynne thanked the waitress as she always does, even if they were really shitty.

"It's was good. The bosses love my new design!!" She clapped her hands cheerfully. "Thank you again for drawing that out for me," Katlynne always asks me to draw out her sketches for her since she can draw to save her life.

"No problem." I said back, shoving a forkful of pasta in my mouth.

We finished our meal, Katlynne insisted on paying and after a long lasted argument, she won. She tipped them more than they were worth but I wasn't going to dent Katlynne's generosity trait.

As we walked to Katlynne's car. I noticed a figure leaning against it. I went to ask Katlynne but her face was as worried as mine. As we got closer, the face became more clear. No fucking way. My mind had to be playing tricks on me but of course it wasn't.

"Nice to see you again," he smiled, his accent digging into my head.

"And you too," he nodded his head towards Katlynne and she shyly smiled back. There was a long awkward stare before the mystery man spoke up again.

"Oh sorry,my bad. I just was walking home and I remember seeing this car at the fashion place and I remember her getting in it and I.. I ah wanted to just see if you..ah.. got your notebook back safely." His eyes never leaving mine.

"Umm..well thanks, yeah I got it back." I pulled out the notebook to show him.

"There's some pretty cool drawing in there," he stuttered.

"Thanks..." I became getting very suspicious of his actually reasoning for stalking us here.

"Oh and..um.. I..ah..I'm Louis. It's nice to meet you." He held out his hand to shake, a gesture I was not expecting from someone like him.

"I'm Kim," I said completing the gesture.

"And I'm Katlynne, if anyone wanted to know," she pushed from behind me and shook his hand as well. I was so focused on him I honesty kinda forget she was there.

"It's..ah..nice to meet you too." he said but his eyes quickly turned back to me. I didn't know what to say. I kinda just wanted to stare into his eyes forever but that would've been too cheesy and I didn't want him to be creeped out. Apparently my subtle stares wernt as subtle as I thought cause he turned his head ad broke our eye contact, abruptly.

"Yeaaahhh well as much as this was I gotta get home and get work done." Katlynne replaced the silence with her loud voice.

"Yeah sorry, uh it's nice to meet you Kim and I'm glad you got you notebook back." He said, being gentle when he said "Kim". He walked away and we got into the car.

"Yeah I was nice to meet you too Katlynne," Katlynne mocked in a high-pitch voice I assumed was meant to replace Louis's voice. Louis. I like that name,I thought but I pushed it out of my mind because I knew I probably would never see him again, even though I kinda wanted to.

"Hello? earth to Kim," Katlynne snapped her fingers in front if my face.

"What?" I said without thinking.

"Yeah that's what I thought. I asked if you wanted to do something tonight."

"I thought you had work stuff?"

"I lied so I wouldn't have to sit there for ages watching you two reenact the first scene of Twilight." She said, rolling her eyes.

"It was not like that," I defended.

"Ha all we needed was a fit Mexican and I swear there would have been no difference."

"Just shut up and drive"

"Haha fine by me. Is that a no to going out?"

"Yeah I kinda wanna go home"

"And dream and about Louis"she giggled,

"Ugh drop it!!"

"Fine fine fine ok," she laughed an pulled out of the parking lot. The sad thing was, she was right. I kinda did wanna go home and day dream about him but I pushed that thought away and replaced it with the music Katlynne was blasting.
