Honor Thy Teacher

Chapter 11

“Did they find out what was wrong with you?” Egypt asked from the other end the phone.

“No I'm waiting on the doctor now and it seem like they've been taking forever. I'm so hungry and sleepy.” Asia said as she whined.

“You've been there all day seems like. Is it a lot of people there?” Egypt asked.

“The police had to come because some guy bust the vending machine and they took forever to call me in the back.” Asia said as she sees the doctor walking in.

“Now how in the world did he bust the vending machine?” Egypt ask laughing a little.

“Same thing I said but ima talk to you later the doctor just walked in.” Asia said as she hung up the phone.

“Sorry for the wait one of the employers just twisted her ankle and it seems like I'm the only doctor in and I don't know how. So my nurse tells me you've been feeling nauseous, light headed and dizzy. Is that correct?” The doctor asked while sitting in a chair.

“Yes.” She simply replied.

“Okay what I'm going to  have you do is take a pregnancy test for me. I'll be right back.” The doctor said leaving out.

Asia hands began to sweat as she patiently set they're waiting for the doctor to come back. She pulled out her phone and texted India saying she might be pregnant. The doctor walked in with a cup in her hand.

“You okay?” The doctor asked standing in front of her.

“I'm just nervous.” Asia said rubbing her hands together.

“It'll be okay. I'm going to have you use it in this cup for me?” The doctor said looking at her.

“Okay.” Asia said.

“Okay go ahead to the bathroom.” The doctor said.

Asia made her way out of the room and down the long hallway until she seen the men's restroom on the left and the women's restroom on the right.

Making her way inside of the restroom while closing the door behind her she immediately collapsed her back onto the door as she closed her eyes and exhaled sharply.

So many thoughts were going through her mind she felt as if she was going in circles and became dizzy. Her mouth begin to water and her stomach churned before she darted over towards the toilet stool while flipping open the lid.

Leaning over the toilet stool all of her contents that she had eaten from this morning came rushing out as if it was a volcano eruption.

Minutes later after rising out her mouth,  urinating in a cup, and washing her hands, she opened up the door inside of the bathroom and placed the cup inside before making her exit back to her room.

Taking a seat in the chair she felt a vibration go off  inside her purse. She unzipped her purse and pulled out her phone. Unlocking the screen and going into the messaging she clicked on the text and read it to herself before replying back.

India: You might be what?!

Me: Pregnant. I'm at the doctor now  waiting on these results.

India: Oh...my God! Have you told Chris yet?

Me: There's nothing to tell. Well at least not yet unless these test results come out positive.

India: True… Well let me know what's going on with you. Chris is gonna flip if you are. Lol... but y'all would have a cute baby together. Let me hit you back this is August calling me now.
