Marinette had been waiting patiently in line for almost 2 hours. She clutched onto her drawing at the thought of finally meeting her idol, Adrien Agreste. She looked down at the paper in her hand, making sure she didn't ruin it.
"Okay," she said, trying to calm herself down. With only a few more people left she was nervous. Her hands were starting to sweat so she wiped them off on her jean skirt. She took a few deep breaths and started smiling. Her dream was finally coming true.
About what felt like an eternity later she was finally standing in front on him. She stared in awe as she realized that he actually existed, and he was right in front of her. He looked even more handsome in person.
Adrien smiled at her and she snapped out of her daze. She smiled back and waved.
"Hi," she said, feeling a bit breathless.
"Hey," He replied. A flash of worry appeared on his face. "Are you okay?" Adrien asked.
"Oh, Yea, Totally fine," Marinette responded. "I wanted to give you this." She held out her drawing with both hands.
Adrien's eyes lit up with surprise and joy. His mouth opened to crack a smile that went from ear to ear.
Marinette felt her face light on fire. "Oh my gosh, this is amazing." He said in awe, admiring the detailing that was drawn in ink.
She scratched the back of her head. "It's nothing really. Just a sketch. I didn't get to put in as much as I wanted but I think it turned out pretty great." She said, staring at the drawing.
"Thank you so much." Adrien said. She was about to leave until he got up and hugged her.
"U-um Adrien?" Her cheeks were now rosy red.
"Thank you so much," He paused,"Marinette." And with that he walked away,leaving a red faced Marinette.
