As I walk down the hall I notice how everyone is either full of energy, or walking around like zombies. I almost get knocked over as a group of boys run down the hall. Idiots. As I turn the corner I see my my two best friends waiting by my locker.
"Hey Alex," my best friend Olivia said.Olivia has black hair and grey eyes. She is really nice and loves animals. Everyone loves her.
"Hi Alex," my other best friend Kim said.
Kim has blonde hair and green eyes. Her parents are very, very rich, but she doesn't act spoiled. She is really nice.
"Hey girls, ready to go to class?" I asked as I get my stuff out of my locker and shut it.
"Yeah, we have Mrs. Brown for homeroom," Olivia told is as she looked given at her schedule.
"Okay, that's not bad. I heard she's really nice, but she didn't allow anyone to have an attitude," I said.
"Maybe she will straiten out some of the boys," I said. Let's just say that the guys at our school aren't exactly angels.
"That would be awesome. Maybe then I could get to my locker without having to tell some couple to go away. Honestly I think Oliver kissed a different girl each day last year," Kim exclaimed.
"Eww, Kim, I did not need to know that," I say disgusted.
"What? It's true," she said shrugging. Right at that moment we walked into class. There were only a couple other students there because we were early.
"You may sit wherever you want, but if you talk to much I am moving you," Mrs. Brown said looking up at us.
"Okay, thank you," I said with a smile. She gave me a curt nod and looked down at her book.
"Boy, do I not want to get on her bad side," Olivia said as we sat down.
"Agreed," Kim said nodding. We sat taking for awhile and I eventually got lost in thought.
I really wish this year went well. Last year had been horrible.
As I think this Hayden Lerman walks in. He is the bad boy of the school as well as the quarterback of the football team. He is also my brothers best friend. They have been friends since second grade.
"Hey Alex," he yells from across the room.
"Oh no," I grumble as I hit my head on the desk. Hayden loves to annoy me. He and my brother once sat outside my door for more than an hour singing at the top of their lungs when my parents weren't home. To say that I got mad would be an understatement. "What do you want Hayden?"
"What's with the hostility Alex," Hayden asked.
"Answer my question. What do you want," I said saying the last part slowly so he could understand.
"Nothing much."
"Okay, then go away."
"Ouch, that hurt," he said with a grin. "Fine I'll go, but you do know that I am hanging ourt with Caleb this afternoon? So you get to enjoy my company all afternoon." With this he walked off smirking stupidly.
"I know you don't think so, but every other girl would pay money to be in your spot. You have Caleb as your older brother(Caleb is older than me by five months) and you get to hang out with Hayden," Kim said.
"Are you serious," I ask her her with a stunned expression on my face.
"No, I'm Kim." Before I can say anything, Mrs. Brown starts the class.
"Hello everyone. My name is Mrs. Brown. I have some class rules that you should know," she started. "First, you are allowed to sit where ever you want, but as soon as that becomes a distraction, I am moving you. Second, I don't accept attitude in my class. If you talk back to me or disobey me, I am not afraid to send you to the office," Mrs. Brown said glaring sternly at the people who always disrupt class. A.K.A, the boys. All I had to do was be good in class and I wouldn't have any problems.
The rest of the morning went on like usual, nothing special. At lunch I met up with Olivia and Kim. We got our food and went to our usual table. Suddenly I blurted something out."Do you guys think that I could be on the football team," I asked as I ate my food. I thought it was a perfectly innocent question until I noticed both of my friends starring at me with their mouths open.
"What?"
"It's just, do you want to die," asked Olivia.
"No, I want to play football," I stated.
"I know but aren't you going going to get tackled a lot," asked Kim.
"Yeah, but I'll be fine. I would be wearing a lot of padding and a helmet."
"Okay, and how do you expect to even get on the team," Kim asked.
"I would ask the coach and tryout," I say.
"But aren't only boys allowed on the team," asked Olivia
"It doesn't say that in the rule book. I have had to read it from front to back with Caleb."
"So are you going to try," Olivia asked.
"Yes, and I am going to be on that team."

Ooh, I am so exited. I hope you all enjoy this chapter. Don't forget to vote and comment.*Update*
Okay so I just noticed that I messed up and changed the names for Alex's friends. I don't know how or why but my brain did something weird. I am going to go through the story and fix any mistakes. Then I am going to try and update. Procrastination is my middle name so it might take a while for me to get updates out. I am also more of a reader than a writer. I love editing though so if anyone need an editor or knows someone who needs and editor then let me know. Summer is almost here so then I will be updating more m, like, a lot more. Well, that's all I've got to say so bye beautiful unicorns!(Yes you all are unicorns because I like unicorns and I like you guys so it is only suitable!)-Hanna
