Shayna's Complete and Utter Cliche Romance Story Chapter 2

CHAPTER 2

Think of that person you've known the longest. You know everything there is too know about them. They have this hold on you and thats why you've stuck around for so long. Well my relationship with Leo is the same thing. He's kept me around since kindergarden with his personality that I loved so much.

Now I wasn't so sure.

I was so upset and mad at him. I had left without him this morning, ignored his texts, and told my mother to send him away when he came over yesterday. I even locked my window when he tried to climb up into my room. He fell. I felt bad and had my brother, Alex, bring him an ice pack, but I still wouldn't talk to him. Unfortunately he had climbed into my room when I fell asleep and I thought he was some rapist or something. I grabbed my bat from under my bed and knocked him out the window once more. I had Alex bring him another ice pack. So last night wasn't the best. It was now fourth period Geometry and I knew that he would find me at lunch next. 

"Eric please go sit next to Shayna directly in the back." My teacher said. My head snapped up and I saw the new kid heading in my direction. He was cute and had amazing hazel eyes, but they didn't compare to Leo's bright blue ones. He sat beside me and held his hand out.

"Hi I'm Eric." I shook his hand.

"Hey, I'm Shayna." 

"That's a pretty name for a pretty girl." Eric said while kissing my hand. I blushed. This boy definitely knew what to say to a girl.

"Thank you. Hey Eric can I see your schedule?" I asked while touching his arm and smiling at him.

"Sure." He said. His face was bright crimson. Now I know that me touching him had had an effect. He took out his schedule.

1st period-Global History/room 202

2nd period-Drama/auditorium

HOMEROOM

3rd period-Honors English/room 110

4th period-Geometry/room 320

LUNCH

FREE PERIOD

7th period-Honors French/room 316

8th period-Earth Science/room 225

*Gym replaces Lunch and Free Period on Thursday.

"Hey Eric, we have every class together except our foreign language and homeroom." I said while reading it over again.

"Really? Are you serious?" Eric asked.

"Yeah. You even have my gym day." I said. Awesome. I have a new guy friend. 

"I'm just happy, I'll know someone." Eric gave me a dazzling smile. The bell rang and I gathered my things.

"Hey Eric, do you want to come sit with me at lunch?" I asked, hopefully. I didn't want him to say no and for me to look like a loser.

"Sure. Who wouldn't want to have lunch with someone as cute as you?" I blushed once more.

He should ask Leo. Leo probably wouldn't see me like Eric does. Eric grabbed my hand and started walking with me to the lunch room. We got weird stares, but I didn't care. I was happy to have a new friend.

"Shayna!" I heard Leo yell before he grabbed my arm roughly.

"Leo! Let go, that hurts!" I yelled. He let go of me and I scowled at him. 

"Shay, please just listen me. I really need to talk to you." He said. I glared.

"Don't you have to go suck face with Alexis?" I asked with an attitude. Leo sighed.
