Heyloo it's AB (AmberTheFox ) writing todayyy. By the way this story is written by two people, writing every other chapter. Makes it more fun. This is gonna only be on @phantasicfringe 's account cause we don't want to be barraged with comments saying we stole the story (like this book's gonna be popular enough for that to happen) Anyways both me and previously mentioned human are deeply saddened that Joshler isn't a thing and really can't be, so here is our little imagination escape land.

"Josh! Josh, I got the chorus to our first song. Do ya wanna hear it?" Tyler asked as he ran into Josh's room. Tyler had been hanging around Josh's house while they worked on their first song together. They were starting a band!

"Yeah I do! Here, sit down," Josh replied, scooting to the side and patting the empty space for Tyler. Tyler took a seat as Josh reached over to his desk and grabbed his drum pad. Tyler picked up his nearly broken ukulele and strummed a few chords before starting.

"You are tired
You are hurt
A moth ate through
Your favorite shirt
And all your friends fertilize
The ground you walk
Lose your mind."

Tyler finished and looked up to see Josh with his eyebrows furrowed, but he quickly changed his expression to a wide smile.

"That was awesome! Keep making lyrics, I'm gonna work on a beat for that part," Josh said, tapping lightly on the drum pad. Tyler nodded, leaving and heading to the guest room (which had basically turned into Tyler's own room) to continue working. Josh sat still for a moment, contemplating what the lyrics meant. He had no idea. After a little while he started tapping out a beat, repeating the chorus in his head.

30 minutes later, Josh had figured out the perfect rhythm, and was about to head to Tyler's room when he heard the ukulele being played softly and Tyler's voice drifting out of the guest room.

"I'm dying and trying
But believe me I'm fine
But I'm lying
I'm so very far from fine."

Tyler regressed to humming and mumbling, but the words stuck to Josh like glue. He didn't like it when Tyler was sad. He'd seen him cry before, sure, and he was there for him, yes, but Tyler never did say why he cried. Why he silently sobbed each night before he drifted off into a sleep filled with whimpers and twitches. And it was starting to get to Josh. He cared for Tyler. A lot. A little bit too much, but that's for another time.

Josh finally knocked on Tyler's door, making him immediately stop humming and briskly open the door.

"Oh, hey," Tyler said, nervously scratching the back of his neck. "I added a lot to the song. Here's the lyrics, I'll sing it to you a little bit later. I think I need a break from writing." Tyler continued as he grabbed a piece of paper from the bed and handed it to Josh. "I haven't gotten to the rap I was planning to put in, but I got most of the other lyrics." Josh nodded, scanning over the page. He tried to keep his worried expression to himself, but Tyler saw it and asked if something was wrong.

"Oh no. It's-it's nothing. I think I need a break too, I have a good beat going for the song anyways." Josh rushed and looked to his shoes.

"Are you sure? You're not being my Josh..." Tyler muttered, placing his hands on Josh's shoulders. Josh immediately tensed, making Tyler revoke his hands quickly. Josh looked up and blushed stuttering a bit before managing to speak his mind. Well, not his mind, more like something to take his mind off of what just happened. Tyler called him 'his'. Tyler. Just. Called Josh. His.

"We should go eat something. I'm starving," Josh broke the silence. He turned away, waving his hand for Tyler to follow him to the kitchen. They both stumbled down the stairs a bit, but laughed it off. Josh opened the fridge, tossing a can of Red Bull to Tyler.
