Tyler's POV

The next morning I stood at the mirror with Josh beside me, rubbing my face vigorously in an attempt to get the sharpie off. It wasn't working.

"Shit. Our friends are coming over today." Josh mumbled.

"It's fine. Just don't mention it and see if they say anything." I laughed. He giggled, smiling at me.

"Okay, sure. By the way, what time are they gonna be over here?" Josh asked.

"I don't know- I'll text them now." I answered, pulling my phone out of my waistband.

Now I actually have to get dressed lol. See you guys soon.

I turned off my phone and rolled my eyes at Josh, who was in his pajama bottoms. I grabbed my toothbrush and scrubbed, getting rid of the horrible stench of morning breath. I looked one more time at the writing scrawled across my cheek. Josh's handwriting had been terrible at the time, and you could barely make out what it said.

"It's gonna make me smile every time I look at it." Josh laughed, meeting my eyes in the mirror.

"Same." I replied, touching it fondly. I walked back to my own room, putting on clothes and deodorant. I stumbled downstairs, yawning. It was 10:30. If I was going to have people at my house, I needed to be awake. I threw some coffee mix and the Keurig and watched as the coffee dripped slowly into the mug. I made one for Josh, handing it to him as he came downstairs. We sipped it slowly, leaning into the granite counter.

"Are you ready to have people over?" Josh asked me, glancing at my bloodshot eyes.

"Yeah, I should be fine. That's why I had coffee." I answered.

"Okay, if you say so. So what exactly are we doing?"

"I don't know, just hanging out I guess. It's gonna be fun." I said.

"Yeah." He murmured absentmindedly. Suddenly the doorbell rang, startling us both. I set my mug down and ran to get it. I opened the door to Pete and Patrick. Patrick smiled at me and tipped his fedora, jokingly as usual. (m'lady) Pete just nodded.

"Nice guyliner." I laughed. He touched it self consciously.

"Does it actually look okay though?" He asked. Patrick rolled his eyes.

"Yes, I've told you a million times. You're the only person I know who can pull it off." He said, touching Pete's arm.

"Is there something here I should know about?" I asked, the side of my mouth quirking up. Pete looked at Patrick.
