The sorting

Annabeth POV

I was getting really annoyed with Harry! He kept on flirting with me while Seaweed brains was asleep! And I kept telling him to knock it off, I have a boyfriend but he just ignored me! We finally got to Hogwarts where I literally ran out with Percy, trying to get away from Harry who was calling my name. "First years over here!" A hairy giant called, we quickly made our way over to him, he explained that we have to cross the lake by boat. Nico's face paled even more if that was even possible! Thalia looked like she about to throw up and Percy just grinned happily and pecked me on the lips.

I rolled my eyes and brought him in for a proper kiss. We clambered into the old, wooden, rickety boat and it rocked gently. I giggled as Thalia's face went green as she restrained herself from throwing up into the water which would just result in Poseidon getting mad, long story short-he would kill Thalia and then Zeus would get mad and then there would be this stupid war! We safely made it over to Hogwarts,and I was completely awestruck of it's beauty!

The architecture was amazing! I was ready to start rambling on about it but Percy just shook his head gently causing me to pout sadly. Apparently we were going to do this weird sorting hat thing, I read about it in Hogwarts a history!

Nico POV

We were waiting outside for Mcgonaggal to come and take us into the Great hall! She finally came and we walked into the magnificent great hall together admiring it's beauty, I mean I'm no architect, like Annabeth but even I could tell this was unusual and gorgeous! They quickly did the sorting until it came to us, I swallowed nervously, glaring at all the girls looking at me.

"Di Angelo Nico!"

I walked up to the old tattered hat and gently sat on the stool, when it was not even touching my head, it yelled "AAGH!!!! GRYFFINDOR!! JUST GET ME OFF OF HIM! HE'S BEEN THROUGH SO MUCH!!!!" I just got up, shrugged and walked to the red and gold table and sat down.

"Grace Thalia!" Thalia glared at the old woman, "Just Thalia! Never call me by my last name!" Thalia glared at her before sitting down. It was about 4 inches away from her when it yelled,

"GRYFFINDOR!!" Thalia pouted as if to say only that? I smirked and moved aside for her to sit down.

Thalia POV

I grumbled dejectedly, how come I didn't get all the shouting? Oh well I'll soon show people!

"Chase Annabeth!"

Annie took one step forward before the sorting hat screamed, "SHE IS WORSE!! SHE HAS BEEN THROUGH SO MUCH!!! HOW DID YOU SURVIVE THAT PLACE?!!? DEFINITELY GRYFFINDOR!!!!" I looked at him in disbelief, seriously? Annie gets that? I give up! Oh great Kelp head is up now!

"Jackson Percy!"

Percy actually hadn't moved yet still the hat shouted once more, "GRYFFINDOR!!!! YOU ARE SO BRAVE ITS STUPID!!! YOU ARE MORE POWERFUL THAN ALL OF US COMBINED!!! YOU HAVE BEEN THROUGH MORE THAN HARRY POTTER COULD EVER ACHIEVE!!!" And with that the hat threw himself off the stool and started sobbing hysterically, rocking gently. Percy just stood there awkwardly, slowly inching towards the Gryffindor table without people looking at him, it definitely didn't work! Everyone looked at him like he had just turned into a pig and flew around the room!
