The War

Hazel POV

After the boy said that, all of us demigods immediately started to prepare, the teachers stood up and got out their wands ready to fight while the Hogwarts' students panicked and looked scared. A few seconds later the doors burst open and thousands of Greek monsters burst through the big double doors. I was immediately overrun with monsters. I turned and there stood an empousa snarling at me.

I gulped, bringing out my weapon as I started to battle with her, "hey I think I recognise you! Aren't you Kelli?" I smirked, looking at her. I had heard many tales of this famous Kelli. Percy and Annabeth apparently always seemed to best her! And I was going to use that to my advantage. "Y'know Annabeth and Percy always talk about you, they say you were a bit of a bitch!" I tell, striking her as she loses focus for her second.

She growls getting angrier and angrier as she pushes herself harder. I finally found a weakness in her defence and stabbed her right in the side as she hissed, disintegrating into dust. I smirk before going to help Frank.

Annabeth POV

I slashed, I stabbed, it was a process that was repeated again and again. Sweat ran down my face as my hair stuck to my face. The monster growled at me as he got stabbed in the stomach, before blowing away as sand. I looked around me to see Percy battling the Minotaur again! I laughed as he insulted him, running to tackle a 'Canadian' I slashed him down barely dodging the venom from a nearby monster.

I looked to the side to see Harry doing surprisingly well, he was of course lacking some technique and strength, but he did manage to stab some monsters. "Ow!" I swore as I felt a sharp sting to my side. I could hardly breathe, my chest ached every time I tried to speak. "Wise girl!" I could hear Percy yell as I fell to the ground, ignoring the sharp sting in my head.

Jason POV

I stared at the blonde as she fell down, this couldn't be happening! Annabeth, the warrior who insulted me as soon as I met her, the girl who has survived for longer than I've ever known, the friend that has stood beside me cannot be dying right now. I swerved to avoid the incoming slash, my mind no longer entirely focused on the fight, I couldn't even begin to apprehend how Percy must be feeling, to be honest I had always felt a little bit jealous of Percy but right now as I watched him desperately looking at Annabeth, all I wanted to do was to give her my life instead.

Out of the corner of my eye I saw Percy run to her side, tears streaming down his face. He started to sob uncontrollably. "No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, NO!" He yelled angrily as he got up to face the monsters. As he walked he emitted a sort of power that encased Annabeth and kept her in a safe force field. Percy looked terrifying, he looked frightening and most of all he looked hurt.

I gasped as Percy started to fight every monster in the whole room! He was invincible, more monsters were running at him but he just cut them down like it was easy. Soon enough there were no monsters left and Percy stood knee deep in sand. I gaped at him as he ran to Annabeth and knelt beside her once more.

Piper's POV

I almost fainted right there. From all that power, I could basically feel their love, it was a tangle with Percy's, hurt, anger, sadness and definitely most of all love. He was crying again as he looked at her, everyone in the room had stopped and stared. For once the "golden" trio weren't bragging, they just stood there looking. Everyone's eyes were on Percy, he hadn't stopped shaking his head and whispering 'no'. Suddenly a bright light broke through the force field and encased Annabeth.

Percy POV

I was watching Annabeth, not aware of everyone looking at me. She suddenly started to glow like really brightly, she looked, beautiful, her golden hair challenging the light and grey eyes still open, they looked like they were about to take me down in a battle! I looked away, it hurt too much to stare at her and know that we were never going to share an underwater kiss again. "Percy?" A weak voice asked, I whipped my head back round to face Annabeth fully alive! "Annabeth!" I yelled joyously hugging her.

"I always told you I was a gift from the gods!" Annabeth laughed slightly hugging me back, I pulled back "and I always believed you" I answered pulling her into a kiss. When we finally pulled apart, she whispered "seaweed brain" and that's when I knew everything was going to be fine "wise girl"
