As you approached the group you looked around to the others. The other students curious looks and the teachers/masters talking to one another talking over what will happen.
READERS P.O.V
"attention!" one of the teachers stated loudly to get 'us' to quiet down. we all averted our attention to him.
"okay listen up" master Iruka took control "we have been talking and are going to make some changes to groups" he glanced around the crowed "you will have four people in your new group because of the amount of new students. also we have lost some teachers to go on special missions" master yuki 'my teacher' straightened up it looked like he was waiting for something to come. "to determine what groups to put you in we will have a battle" most people's eyes in the crowd opened wider but not mine I didn't find it that well.. that much of a change I guess? we are training to be greater ninjas there are going to be much more harder battles to come " this will be an easy short battle we have paired you with different students from other lands." he cleared his throat and read some names "sasuke-" he was cut of by girls squeals "naruto, sakura, hinata ,_____..." he continued but I didn't really care anymore he said about twenty names then stopped and said "would those student please go to kakashi so he can lead you to the battle area" I walked over to master kakashi joining the others. he started leading us down a path I could here iruka reading off names for the other battles. it was faint though getting quieter and quieter as we walked away.
sasuke came up beside me"so your name's _____?" he asked with a smirk
"yes sasuke it is, great job you learned someone's name, woohoo" i said sarcastically making a little hand movement for the woohoo. naruto walked up on the other side.
"hey ____!" he said with a cheery smile "are you excited?"
"stop right there, first just because I helped you off the ground after I jabbed you in the stomach doesn't mean we're friends or anything so stop being so cheery. second, why should I be excited? or nervous? it's just a fight our training will include more besides to be ninja you'll fight, correct?" you said with an emotionless face
"u-uh" naruto stuttered out
I walked a little faster to get ahead and away from them then glanced back for a glimpse of their expressions. 'hahaha did I really go that deep serious' I laughed to myself trying to hold it in. then stopped at our destination to see....
NARRATOR P.O.V / NORMAL P.O.V:
"HOLY CHIZ IT'S THAT KID AGAIN!!!" you said almost yelling your eyes widening in surprise.
the read headed boy's eyes stared at you and you immediately looked away, no hesitation.
"OKAY" one of the teachers said loudly and sternly to get everyone's attention. "this is how it's going to go down. we have other students here from different villages because they have the same situation. so we have randomly selected students to battle. remember this is only a small fight" he continued explaining the rules..etc
'okay get on with it!' you thought to yourself 'my legs gonna fall asleep from standing like this for so long!' you were growing more impatient by the each second that passed.
"okay, the first students up are..."
