Chapter 2: Sing With Me

Later that night, Billy made his way down to the front deck on the ship, seeing that it was already accompanied by people of all ages. Teens talked to other teens probably about their stressful school lives, as Billy heard that there were students who basically lived on the ship and took classes. Adults and elders lounged near the hot tub, enjoying their own relax time. A stage caught Billys eye, it was the color of blue that he always wore- with his khakis. 

"Ayyy Bill-Bo wazzup??" Zack yelled, Billy looked over his shoulder to see him with Jacob again. Oh, and Cody. "Hey, whens this starting?" Billy asked, referring to the karaoke night.

"Soon, don't worry." Cody reassured.

Suddenly, a scream was emitted from afar, a man walking out seconds later soaked head to toe, water dripping from his clothes.

"ZACK!!" The man yelled, catching everyone's attention. "What made you think you should pour ice water into a bucket and leave it as a PRANK!!"
"Oh, that?" Zack laughed. "I thought I took it down when Cody told me to but whoops, looks like I forgot to!"

Billy smiled with worry in his eyes as the victim of Zack's antics groaned. "I swear, these little tricks you pull will get you suspension. Or worse..." The man stepped forward and glared right into him. "You'll get kicked off the S.S. Tipton."

"You should've listened, Zack! I told you that you would get in trouble when you were putting it up last night when we were closing, and you laughed it off!" Cody sighed, turning to Billy. "I'm so sorry you have to listen to this."

"Oh, is this who you were talking about today?" The man asked.
"Yeah, this is Billy Mays." Cody introduced. "Billy, meet the captains manager and cruise director of the S.S. Tipton, Marion Moseby. He was previously also the hotel manager of the Tipton Hotel, where Zack and I used to live before we came to here."

"Glad to meet you, Marion." Billy shook hands with him, smiles on there faces as Marion forgot what he was raging on about.
"Glad to have meet you as well, Billy. Everyone is very nice here on board- Except for Zack."
Zack rolled his eyes, a quiet Jacob patting his back.

"Alright everyone, it's time for Karaoke Night on the S.S. Tipton!" A man said as he walked out onto the sparkling stage, the sound of people cheering and clapping enlightened Billy.
"I'll be your host for tonight, Mr. Bob Duncan!"

"There's a free table over there," Mr. Moseby glances over to Billy. "How about we all sit over there?"
Billy grins, "Of course."
After Mr. Moseby returned from changing out of his suit and tie into more casual clothes, the group had a blast and spent the rest of the night laughing and cheering for good and bad performances.

"Alright, that was one good performance, I've gotta admit." The host said as two people walk off stage hand in hand, smiling at one another as if they fell in love at first sight. Maybe Billy was over thinking this, but he just felt so lonely...

"This next one is a another duet, and its also our last one of the night!" The host announces. "Let's see... Marion Moesby and Billy Mays, come on up!" People began to clap as Billy and Mr. Moesby look at each other in surprise. "We didn't sign up..."

Zack snickered. "I signed you guys up."

"Zack!" Cody and Mr. Moesby yelled in unison. "Oh god, I can't do this..." Mr. Moesby mumbled.

"Come on up you guys, don't be shy!" People started chanting "Go, go," clapping their hands together. Mr. Moesby and Billy were silent, looking at each other once again until finally giving in.

The two stood up, walking up to the stage as the crowd cheered for them finally having the courage. When they made it up their, they stood side by side of the host.
