A/N: It's been almost three years. This has been in my drafts ever since I finished chapter two but I never got to finish it. Thank you to anyone who has supported this story, you all deserve a chapter 3.

He hated it.

He hated seeing couples everywhere he went, people affectionate with their significant other.

Mr. Moseby would scowl at the sight of people kissing, even just the slightest peck on the cheek would set him off. The manager was such a grumpy loner, as Zack would tease.

The day Zack got with Jacob, Mr. Moseby was furious.

"How could someone like you possibly get a partner before me?!" He screamed, Zack and Jacob stood frozen in their tracks.

"Don't worry," Cody said. "I'm not sure how it happened either."

As he flipped through the TV channels, he would pass by some romance movies and would groan. Catching a couple making out in one of the janitors closet was the worst times of Mr. Moseby's life.

Whenever he would talk to his family on rare occasions, they would always ask if he had found "that special someone", in to which he would reply with a silent eye roll, but on the inside a raging fire of vexation.

In conclusion-- Mr. Moseby hated love and wanted nothing to do with it.

On the morning of a pleasant summer day, the S.S. Tipton made it to a dock, gathering more travelers.

Mr. Moseby had been running some errands when he ran into Cody.

"Hello, Mr. Moseby."

"Hello, Cody." He greeted, looking down to see him carrying a bucket labeled "OxiClean".

"... And what's that in your arms?"

"Oh, this?" Cody adjusted his hold on the tub. "This is a bucket of OxiClean, in honor of famous salesman and main advertiser for OxiClean itself, Billy Mays. I saw that he had posted on his Facebook page about how he was going to be on here for a vacation, and I'm a huge fan."

"Billy Mays, hm?" Mr. Moseby repeated, the name rolling off his tongue like a song. It was a mysterious name, but he had just become so curious now. He didn't know why. "I've never heard of him."

"I want to meet him, and it he's interested, invite him to karaoke night." Cody told the plan to Mr. Moseby. "If he comes, I could introduce him to you. He's a great guy, trust me."

"I'll look forward to meeting him, then." Mr. Moseby said, and Cody nodded.

"Well, I better get going," The manager looked at his watch, "I promised the captain that we could go and get breakfast."

"Yeah, I'm gonna get going, too. I've got work and all soon..." Cody said. "Later on I'm gonna visit Billy Mays and ask him about karaoke night."

"Alright, you go do that." And the two parted ways.

Mr. Moseby looked back on that conversation from earlier this morning, as he headed back to his room after an exhilarating night singing karaoke.

He remembered it all-- the way his heart beat as he walked onto the stage with his new friend, Billy Mays, and how afraid he was at first. He remembers how he eventually eased into the song, letting out all of his emotions that were once confined in the deepest parts of his heart.

Oh, and he forgot how amazing Dirty Dancing was.

Mr. Moseby was relieved, surprisingly. It was weird-- how was this man, who he had just met that same day, able to bring out the best of him? This so-called "famous salesman" intrigued him, and Mr. Moseby was curious to find out more about him...

He felt as if he wasn't so lonely on this ship anymore.
