Chapter 2

ERIN'S POV:

Chapter 2-

They started dating a couple weeks ago when 'I started spending too much time with Caylen'. Caylen's dad got really suspicious when we started to hangout a lot more. We weren't doing anything but actually hanging out for the first couple of days. Then I told him I loved him.

"Caylen, I love you." I said it in a joking voice but I really meant it.I was expecting an awkward okay, but at least I could tell my kids that I told my high school crush I loved him. But he didn't say an awkward okay, or anything like that. He turned toward me, got a really serious look on his face, which is rare because Caylen is a joker. He looked me straight in the face and said "I love you too."

I was shocked because I know boys, and I know if they're are joking about something or actually mean it. Caylen meant it when he said he loved me.

But the sad part is, that was the only time I ever felt he whole heartily loved me. After that things were more fun, we would go to the park and hangout, when no one was around I would give him a kiss on the cheek, but then he quickly pull away, check around and make sure no one saw, and then yell at me, and explain again that we could have gotten caught. I apologize, but I could tell that he kind of liked it. I stopped after a while because he started screaming and I knew that if he kept screaming we would get caught, and I don't want him to get In trouble, so I did stop. After about a week of going to parks and go kart riding, that's when his dad got suspicious. He noticed that Caylen was hanging out with me everyday after school. He didn't tell Caylen to stop hanging out with me but I think Caylen was worried he might call a PI or something and then he would definitely get caught. So we stopped seeing each other so often we still said hi in the hall but no after school contact. I was okay with that at first because it wasn't like he didn't love me or was with anyone else. But I did start to mind it when Grace came along. It was about 5 days after we couldn't hangout anymore. I saw Caylen come to school with brand new sports car and a new girl, (known as Grace,) on his arm.
