ERIN'S POV:
Chapter 3-
At first I wanted to run home, kill myself, and never have to talk to Caylen ever again. But I realized almost immediately that he didn't love her. He looked at her with his eyebrow raised like he was showing her off. If Caylen actually loved her he would be smiling with his eyebrows lowered, and his hand in hers. That's not what he was doing, he had his arm around her waist like a 12 year old. Or how a person might show off a piece of meat in front of a hungry pack of dogs, but instead of dogs there were freshman nerds.
I figured out pretty quickly that he wasn't at all interested in her, he saw me and his smile faded. He says that I had look of hatred but I think he was saying it just to mess with me.
Caylen and Grace had no classes together, but they were always together before school, after school and during lunch. Caylen and I became more distant, we stopped talking but we still texted. Even though we were texting it wasn't enough, no matter how much we interacted, Grace and Caylen always talked more and I was beginning to be over powered.
Caylen assured me it was nothing. But he didn't want to hangout with anymore, he wouldn't let me text him or call him. The boy I loved was slowly but surely slipping away from me.
