*Ally's pov:
She's perfect. And I'm not. I sigh and look out the window. The girl I'm talking about is none other than Dinah Jane. She's the most popular girl at our school. Every girl wants her. She is a sports goddess. Her looks could kill. I'm in second period science. I should be in college classes but they don't have that at this school, so I have to just pretend to not know this stuff. Third period I have gym, which means I stand in the back and try not to be seen. I don't know why they won't just let me sit out, it's my worst class.

As I turn into the locker room I run into something hard. My glasses went flying and I fell to the ground. "Hey wtf!" Someone yells. Dinah. She turned around and saw me, her face dropped. "Watch it." She snaps at me. I whimper slightly and try to find my glasses. Someone new is in front of me and puts my glasses on me. I look up to see Lauren Jauregui in front of me. She's the school bad ass. She rides a motorcycle and has missed the most class out of all the students. She has a lot of tattoos. One thing about her though, is she is my best friend. "Thanks Lo." I say as I gather my things. "No problem Als. We get changed and quickly walk outside.

Most people just stare at us. I'm the nerd of the school holding hands with the schools bad ass. We don't care though and just go sit in the bleachers. We were on our phones when the coach calls class together. It's dodge ball week, my least favorite week. Although being friends with Lauren has its advantages. No one wants to hit us because they think Lauren will beat the shit out of them. She will, which is surprising to me because she's a total teddy bear to me. She's always lost in thought and daydreaming. It's fun trying to get her attention. I am broke out of my thoughts by a ball straight to the nose. I fall backwards and Lauren catches me. The class is silent. My nose is dripping with blood. I look at Dinah who has a smirk on her face.

I then turn to Lauren who nods. I jump into Lauren's arms and she carries me and my tissues to the nurse. We walk in and she places me down. The nurse starts talking to me with her back turned away. "Hello Ally what happened today?" She asks with a giggle. I come to the nurse so much the just call me by my first name. "Good Mrs. Helen. What about you? How are the kids?" I ask while she inspects me. "They're all good and miss you horribly! Alex keeps asking "where's my girlfriend?" He wanted to take you to show and tell at school but you were sick." She said. "Aww tell him I'll make it up to him. I'll come later this week." I say giggling.

After I got cleaned up I headed back to class. People stared and a few snickered. I just walked into the changing rooms, and started to get my stuff.  The door flies open and slams against the wall, making me visibly flinch. "What the hell?! Why did you just walk off with Lauren? Coach yelled at me for not taking you down." Dinah yells at me furiously. I'm cowering in the corner now, and shaking. When Dinah gets angry, it's not pretty. "I-I-I'm s-so s-s-sorry!" I whisper yell. "Yea well you should be." She's said in a smaller tone, but still with a bite.

She gathers her stuff and walks out the door. I'm still shaking when Lauren comes in. "Babe, come here!" She says with open arms. "You wanna skip the rest? We can go to Waffle House?" She asks. "Girl, you had me at waffle" I say with a giggle. We have a few minutes before class ends so we're all just standing around. The door to the gym opens and I hear a honk. I look up to see a helmet coming at me. I catch it and put it on. We all go over to the doors to see Lauren and her motorcycle in the grass.

She's leaned against it with a cigarette in her mouth. I giggle and people turn to look at me. I walk forward and hand her my bag. I climb on the back of the bike and look around. Lauren takes off her jacket and gives it to me, knowing I get cold on these things. Her tattoos are now visible. I wrap my arms around her waist and she starts the bike. It's starts up and we drive off. I love this feeling. The wind, the freedom. It makes being invisible not as hard.
