*Dinah's pov:
I watch as Lauren rides off with ally on her bike. I growled slightly. As soon as they were gone I mind linked Lauren.
(L=Lauren d=Dinah)
D: where are you taking her?!
L: dude calm down. You may be alpha but she's my best friend. I'm helping her not be so depressed. You seem to be great at screaming at her.
Dinah loudly growled and tried to talk to her again.
D: you will not disrespect me!

It was too late because Lauren already blocked Dinah out. "She will be getting an earful later." I thought.  After we left class, school was over so I headed home. I changed into some sweatpants and a sport bra, started doing some paperwork. I am an alpha. Head werewolf. I run the pack, pack house. It has 25+ people in it. Most have found their mates, but some haven't. I haven't found mine but I don't want one. I'm 17 and my birthday is coming up. It's important because when a werewolf turns 18 they find their mate.

 To be honest I'm afraid to find mine. What if they think I'm too mean, or ugly, or not alpha material. I'm mean I'm fabulous yes, but I have insecurities too. Is high and leave my office to head to the gym down the street. Whenever I'm stressed or upset I always come here to relax. As I walk in I hear a lot of giggling. It's like the most beautiful sound in the world. I turn the corner to see Lauren on a weight bench with ally.

 Ally is sitting on the weight bar while Lauren lifted them both. Jealousy instantly filled me and I actually don't know why. I cough and give a pissed off look. They instantly look up and ally's eyed immediately fill with fear. "If you're done, I need to use that. Coach needs me bigger." I say icily. Ally gulps and grabs Lauren's hand. Lauren fixes me with a glare that I return. "Come on let's get out of this place." Lauren says grabbing her stuff and ally.

D: what the actual fuck! I try to get away from you and you are everywhere!!
L: oh screw you
D: *deep growl*
L: oh can it! Ok?! She's afraid of you! are you happy? You made one of the sweetest girls in the whole world afraid of even the smallest noises. No matter the punishment, I will say this. Alpha, you disgust me.
The thing was, I disgust myself sometimes.
D: you don't know how right you are. (Thinking that she cut it off)
Dinah sighed and started doing her work out. 

*Lauren's pov: As Lauren was walking out, she turned to look at Dinah. What did she mean "you don't know how right you are?" We walk out of the gym now noticing it's dark. "I'll take you home alz." I say while helping her onto the bike. She just nods silently and gets on. "Ally i just want you to know something about Dinah. She isn't always like that. I-I she is usually really fun and loving. But something about you makes her go crazy. When she's around you her feelings get mixed and all shitty like." I say as we drive to her house. "What? How do you know what she's like outside of school?!" She asks bewildered. "Ok I'm gonna tell you and you can't freak. Ok? She nods her head. Ok close your eyes and put your hand on my back. And don't scream." She does and I transform. I bark and she opens her eyes and gasps. "Oh my god!! What are you? Is this a joke?! This is actually kind of cool." She yelled the first part but mumbled the last. I shifted back and changed into my clothes.

 "The reason I know is because she is my alpha." I say looking down. She gasps. "You mean she's the leader of your pack?! You have to spend all day with her? Hahahaha" she starts laughing at my misfortune. "So what are you?" She asks. "I'm beta. Second in control. I am the second hand man of Dinah." I say with a slight smirk. I'm gonna get my ass handed to me tonight, and I know it. "Is most of the school a werewolf?" She asks a little nervous like. "Yes. And they are from her pack. We are the black lighting pack. We're a pretty powerful pack. Very skilled at fighting." I say with a proud look.

 She just looks at me and then pulls me in for a bone-crushing hug. "This changes nothing ok? In fact this is awesome!" She says excited. "Don't tell anyone though ok? Let them tell you." I say not wanting to get into trouble. "Ok bye bye Lo!" She says with a giant smile. As soon as I'm done dropping her off, I head home. I'm tired and just wanna get my punishment over with. Oh well, Ally is my best friend and I would do anything to protect her. Even standing up to my leader.
