I felt my head peek out of my hiding place, and look around the kitchen. I had two minutes till my shift ended, but I didn't want to see Dan until then.

I was hiding in closed off shelf that was normally used for food, but had been emptied last week and, after me bothering my coworkers for two days, had been left empty.

There was a door to keep the rats and other animals out, which was extremely convenient for me.

I had a small string of fairy lights lining the top of the shelf, which was surprising big. It for me sitting down with room to spare. I had a digit clock to tell me what time it was, and I had a portable phone charger. A small pillow and a blanket sat with me, I knew I couldn't use them right now seeing as how Dan is in the cafe at this very second.

I should probably go say hi.
