Chapter 3

Katie s pov
We used the floo back home, uncle remus's house was where i grew up in.
*i coughed* " bit dusty aint it" i said grabbing my trunks, out of the fire place.

"Full moons, dont know where i went the house was empty for days i couldn't clean the fire place." Uncle remus said brushing off the dust on his clothes.

"Uncle remus.. you haven't been taking the potions isn't it?" I asked concerned searching for his eyes.

"What do you expect i am a werewolf and no potion is gonna stop me on every full moon pumpkin" he said taking the trunk from my hand and took it up to my room.

"Well looks like something to do this summer!" I clapped my hands

Uncle remus's house was located in a quite area. It was surrounded by fields. Our house was a two story house, my bedroom faced a beautiful scenery of the grassy field. Every summer i used my anamigus form to go run around it . It was fun. I kept my trunk on the side and casted a spell for it to unpack it. I laid on my bed before realising the grassy field in front of me. Immediately i stood up to head towards the balcony door. "Wildfire!" I called out to our horse as i saw him eating hay by the house.  No wonder why i have a lot of pets. Losing my dad , and having the name black was a tragedy to my life. I wasn't sure of my fathers doings, but i always believed he'd never! Ever ! Be a supporter of the dark lord.  Thats why uncle remus did everything he could to be a father like figure for me! He gave his best to give me, all the love he can, all the fun for my childhood. And indeed he did. He was truly a father to me.

I breathed in the breeze that beemed across my face sinking in the smell of the greenery in front of me.

"Katie dinner's ready!" I opened my eyes realising that uncle remus has already called down for dinner.

"Coming" i yelled.

"Multicorfors" i quickly changed my clothes and ran down stairs

"I made your favourite!" He said .

"Beef stew! Thank you uncle remus!" I said taking a seat.

I put some stew in to my bowl as i broke a piece of bread .

"So tell me all about this year" he asked me smiling.

"Well for starters, i got into the quidditch team! I made new friends! Oliver, you know him, fred and george my bestfriends and angelina, alicia, and lee."

"How did you become friends?" He asked .

"The last three years in hogwarts , i was a loner. Everybody knew me as loner black. I knew who the weasley's were. Fred and georgie were the masters of pranks! It was them who founded me not so freaky. They wanted to be friends. I'll never know how i can ever thank them for inviting me to lunch that day." I said munching on to my food.

"I am so happy for you pumpkin" he said holding on to my left hand.

"Look i have good news.." he said smiling and still holding on to my hand.

"What is it?" I asked excited.

"Well  after lockhart was found as a fraud the mini- ... katie might i ask WHY IS YOUR HAIR YELLOW?" He asked as his voice raised in shock.

"Uncle remus calm down.. i developed a new power in me i am part Metamorphmagus they said. You know tonks my cousin, apparently she inherited the same."  I said.

"I knew. But we didn't think you'd inherit it. Hahah katie i am so proud of you!" He said smiling and gave a kiss on my hand.

"You were saying uncle remus?"
