Chapter 9: Fake fi(r)sts?

Hiroki kept tripping over his feet. As he felt the tight grip around his wrist getting tugged forward.

"Senpai! That hurts let me go!"

Hiroki tried pull his wrist back, his eyebrows furrowed in frustration. A flustered look in his eyes, and a blush across his cheeks.

Nowaki kept pulling him by his wrist "No."

'His voice..'

Hiroki's eyes widen "Hah?! Who do you think you are- Uwah!" Hiroki was cut off when, Nowaki suddenly turned around and pulled him to his chest. Wrapping his arms around him tightly.

His face buried in the crook of his neck, while his hand held the back of his head. His arm wrapped firmly around his waist.

Ba-Thump!

'Uwaa..' Hiroki's eyes grew wide, along with his face shading red.

"W-What-"

"I'm sorry.."

Hiroki was filled with confusion "Why are you sorry?" His voice almost cracked.

Nowaki tighten his embrace around him

"He stole something from you...I can't never forgive him for that."

Hiroki tried to look up at him. Feeling his face warm up and his breath hitch.

Ba-Thump!

Hiroki grip Nowaki's blazer, shutting his eyes tightly. As he bit on his bottom lip slightly.

"Why do you care...?"

Nowaki's eyes widen "I-I...Hiro...I care about you...a lot. We're friends."

A shadow covered over Hiroki's eyes, as he tried to shove Nowaki off him.

"Just let me go."

"Hiro-"

"LET ME GO!"

Hiroki pushed at Nowaki's chest, shoving him off him.

Nowaki stared at him with shock, it also kinda stung his heart.

Hiroki's bangs shadow over his eyes, clenching his fists.

"You...what is it with you?! You defending me like that! Acting all jealous! And overprotective! Like I was your boyfriend-!"

Hiroki's face turned all red, when he said the last part.

"Stop giving off these false or hopeless feelings towards me!"

'I'm such a fool..'

Hiroki felt his throat go dry, his voice starting to crack. He felt vision get blurry, feeling his eyes start to swell with tears.

'I am fool-'

"Hiro.."

"What-" Hiroki looked up right at the moment when Nowaki got closer to him.

Placing his hands on his face, leaning in. His eyes staring deeply into Hiroki's eyes.

Ba-Thump!

Hiroki felt warmth against his lips, his eyes widening.

Nowaki pressed him against the wall, placing his leg between Hiroki's legs. His arms trapped him in.

Nowaki kisses his lips deeply, his head tilted to the side.

Ba-Thump!

"Mmn.." Hiroki felt his face heat up instantly, he felt like he couldn't breath.

Nowaki felt his blood rush, his breath hitch, the pit of his stomach warm up. And most of all...

He felt his heart pound fast.

Hiroki kisses his lips slowly, trying to savor this moment.

Slowly closing his eyes.

A tear stroll down his face.

' I could care less..'

'These feelings for you are just getting stronger and stronger.'

'Acting like these feeling don't even exist...or that I act out,  pathetically..'

'I'm drowning..no..I'm getting swept away..I can't..'

'I love you...I'm in love with you Nowaki.'
