Prologue:
'Deep breaths, Rochelle. Deep breaths,' Rochelle said to herself. Steeling herself, she walked through the doors of the school.
California was so different from Lanes, the small New Jersey city she used to live in. Lanes was a calm, quiet city. It was nothing like L.A., where the people are so much more... vibrant.
Rochelle took a deep breath again.
This would be the year that she was going to change. She wasn't going to be Shy Rochelle anymore.
And this transformation would happen here, at St. Brigid High School.
