Laksh POV:
When I came to office I sent some of my men with an engineer for initial site inspection to the orphanage. Maya headed to my room with Ms. Aria and we started discussing over our terms and conditions. It's already lunch time when a beautiful angel rushed into my cabin without knocking holding two bags in her hand....
Neetu (excitingly): Laksh! This is your lunch and this is your surprise gift!
Maya: It's interesting! What did you bring for him?
Neetu: Carrot halwa. He likes it so much.
Me: Sweetheart__
Neetu: Laksh, this is what you want! Trust me you'll love it. Open it... open it and see what your gift is.
Neetu stood there, her head held high and her eyes are bright with expectation. I opened the wrapper and.... what? I was shocked and surprised for few seconds and smirked at her with a seducing 'thank you'
Me: Thank you love. I love your gift but seriously I don't need any guidance in this. I'm knowledgeable enough.
Neetu: No Laksh you need it. There are many changes in the outside world and these new changes you need to know.
Me: (smirk and giving a lope side smile. Trying hard not to laugh) Oh but I have my ways to make you happy and pleasure you.
Neetu stood there confused about what I am talking.
Neetu: Huh? Laksh.... tell me truthfully... you don't like this gift too Right? You know... I thought for so long and I bought the new version of this book for you.
Me: Oh really... Thank you. I take your advices in to consideration when we have our alone precious time.
Neetu: what? Laksh what are you talking about?
Me: Thank you for the book Neetu.
And showed the book she gave to her. It is "Mating in homo sapiens". Her face turned red due embarrassment and shy.
By now Maya was trying so hard not laugh and Aria's is void of any emotions which I didn't like.
Neetu: No No No... Laksh this is not the book I bought for you. I bought "We are market Basket" for you. Oh God... Yesterday I helped my intern for her project and I unknowingly wrapped that book which is beside the book I intend to give you. Oh God Oh God Oh God.
That's when I laughed and kissed her cheek saying her how cute she was just now. I held her in my arms and said...
"Listen Neetu and Listen carefully I have what I want already. It was, is and will be mine forever. There is no replacement for it. Nothing and no one can give me the happiness I get from that/her. Do you understand? Now give me five minutes I'll wrapup this meeting and we'll go home okay?"
Neetu smiled and nodded.
Aria: Dr. Pranitha, I'm sorry but you need to knock before you enter a room and we wasted a lot of time because you were being a child just now.
What the Hell! This girl will someday get the lesson she needed from. How dare she is to talk to my wife like that. That's it no more gentleman from me.
Me: Oh don't worry Ms. Sinha, I'm happy as long as you do all the things you told her. I don't understand why she would knock when she is coming in her own room. The name board out side my cabin always states "Benerjee's". It clearly implies that anyone from my family can come to my cabin at any time without knocking.
