Robbie Kay x Sick!Reader

Hey guys!! Sorry this has taken so long, I've been kinda busy with stuffs. But, I did meet Robbie two Sundays ago, and that was so exciting!! He's actually very nice, and so is Sean Maguire. This convention was definitely my favorite. I'm almost done on an imagine based on my experience with Robbie, so that should be coming out either today or tomorrow, so keep an eye out! Anyway, this imagine was requested by Lost_Narnian_Runner, so I hope you like it!! I also had to do some legit research on this cause I know absolutely nothing about sicknesses or health problems (so please don't hate me if I get anything wrong), even though I have like a lot. Lol. I'm so bad. Okay, here it is, I hope you like it!!!

You walked down the linoleum floors of the school, late as usual. Your doctors appointment had gone badly, as there was more junk clogged up in your heart artery. You had coronary artery disease, whatever that was. The only thing you understood was that you were at a greater risk of having a heart attack because of your high blood pressure. That's why you always had to slow it down. 

You reached your class, gently opening the wooden door. Your eyes met the teacher's, and he gently nodded. All of your teachers knew where you were if you were late, but you made them swear not to tell anyone, especially your boyfriend, Robbie. You didn't need him to worry about you. He already had a lot on his mind, with his acting dream and stuff. 

You walked to the back of the class, sitting by yourself. Robbie turned around in his seat. He knew something was up, so he texted you under his seat. Your phone buzzed, and you carefully slid the device out of your back pocket, looking down.

Robbie <3 : You okay, luv?

You looked up to see him staring at you. You lowered your head, your thumbs moving like lightning.

Me: I'm fine, I just gotta talk to you at lunch.

You pressed the send button and looked to Robbie, who looked down and frowned, but turned to you and nodded. Just then, the teacher turned around, looking around until his eyes met yours. 

"(y/n), your presentation is next." You nodded, grabbing the note cards and flash drive from your bag. You got up, legs shaking, as everyone in the room stared at you. You plugged in your flash drive, your stomach starting to hurt. You shrugged it off, rubbing your chest. Why was this happening? Your vision started to go in and out and your mind flashed back to when this had happened the first time. You knew what was happening.

You were having a heart attack.

Your back slid against the blackboard, Robbie rushing over to you, his eyes filled to the limit with worry. "(y/n), hey, (y/n), stay awake. What's going on?" You tried your best to open your eyes, and you tried to tell him.

"Call...911." He widened his eyes, reaching for his phone. He called 911 and looked to the teacher, handing him his phone.

"Stay on line with them and I'll take her outside." The teacher nodded and Robbie picked you up, running out of the room and outside. You tiredly closed your eyes and Robbie looked down at you, nudging you forward. "No, no, no, (y/n), stay awake." You nodded, your eyes sliding closed anyway.

Then there was black...

You woke up to a heart monitor beeping in your ear. The familiar smell of hand sanitizer flooded your nose and you looked around, seeing an IV in your hand. You were in the hospital, again. Robbie sat next to you, asleep in a chair. There were dark circles under his eyes. Honestly, it looked like he just fell asleep.

He woke up suddenly, seeing you awake. "(y/n)!" He cried. "You're awake. I'm so sorry I didn't know." You shook your head.

"No, Robbie, it's fine, I swear. I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I just didn't want to bother you with my problems. I couldn't do that to you." Robbie looked at you, eyes glossy.

"No, you never do that. I'm your boyfriend, it's my job to help you through your problems. And that's what I'm gonna do. We're gonna get through this together. I promise." You smiled, nodding. "I love you so much, (y/n)."

"I love you too Robbie." And to seal the promised, you kissed.
