Chapter 11: Sai Fon

We finally reached the cabin, and Sai Fon had fallen asleep on my back "She's so cute." Taehyung sighed "I agree." He opened the door and let me inside "Let's go sit on the couch." He took Sai Fon off my back and carried her to the couch carefully. I smiled and sat next to him. He held Sai Fon in his arms as I held his hand "It's sad she lost her mom." He rubbed her cheek softly "Yeah..." I looked down at her with sorrow "Hey! I have an idea!" He said happily "What?" I laughed "We can be her parents!" He suggested "I... can be a dad?" I squeezed his hand and smiled "Let's ask her when she wakes up."

He glanced down at her but then frowned "Jin?" "Hm?" Tears came to his eyes as he turned to me "What if... She doesn't want parents like us?" I wrapped an arm around him and kissed his forehead "We'll just have to wait and see." I looked into his eyes "It'll be okay, okay?" I assured him. He nodded and played with Sai Fon's long black hair.

Moments later we heard laughing when Yoongi and Jimin suddenly burst through the door "Shhh!!!" I pointed to Sai Fon and glared at them evilly. They stopped laughing and nodded "What happened?" I asked"Jimin was just being an idiot." Yoongi smiled "Why? What did he do?" "See for yourself." He pointed to Jimin's bloody ankles and I face palmed "How?" I groaned "He tried to jump over this barbed wire fence." Yoongi answered casually "Dr. Jin, can you fix me?" Jimin asked "Stop saying that!" I laughed and got the kit. He sat infront of me while I wrapped his ankles "Thanks." "Yep."

"What did you guys get anyway?" I noticed Yoongi had hauled in a good amount of luggage "Food, and rounds." He said "I found Sai Fon some clothes. Hopefully mediums fit her." Yoongi added

Sai Fon turned in Taehyung's arms and held onto his shirt "Do you think she's having a nightmare?" "She could be dreaming of when her mom got shot in the head right beside her." Yoongi suggested "What. Is. Wrong. With. You. And. Saying. Things. Like. That?!" I glared at him and he walked away with his hands up "Just saying, it could be true." He added.

That's almost the same thing he said when Taehyung was sleeping by us in the Lunatic camp. But again, he was right, that could be true.

"You should wake her up." Jimin said "Hey... Sai Fon, wake up, are you okay?" Taehyung poked her nose and rubbed her arms. Sai Fon's eyes squinted shut and then opened slowly "Mommy?" She asked, still half asleep. Yoongi shook his head and walked away. Jimin sighed, and Taehyung was about to cry. "No... It's me, Taehyung, remember?" Sai Fon wiped her eyes and sniffed "Oh yeah."

Yoongi came back with some toast "Here Sai Fon." "Thank you." We sat and watched her eat "Hey, Sai Fon?" I asked "Yesh?" She was still chewing on her toast "Jin and I want to ask you a question." "What is it?" She stopped chewing and everyone stared at us. I held Taehyung's hand "We were wondering if you wanted to be our daughter?" Sai Fon smiled brightly and nodded "Really?!" I asked happily. Taehyung started crying in my arms, as Sai Fon finished her toast and hugged us.

"Daddy, why are you crying?" I hugged Taehyung and Sai Fon tight "He's just happy we have a beautiful girl like you as our daughter." "Are you happy?" She asked "Of course I am." I smiled "I always wanted a family." Taehyung looked up at me "I always wanted a family too." He sniffed "And now I have the best one." He kissed Sai Fon's forehead and then me.

"Okay, this is really cute and all but do I get to be a uncle?" Yoongi groaned with his arms crossed "Me too?" Jimin added "Yes." I nodded. Taehyung and Sai Fon smiled happily "I'm an uncle!!!" Jimin's arms shot up in excitement and Yoongi smiled brightly "Even though none of us are related, we're all a family now." I nodded "Now we have to take even better care of eachother." Sai Fon went and hugged Jimin "Uncle Jiminie." She said sweetly while pointing to him "And uncle Yoongi." She pointed to Yoongi and hugged him also. Taehyung and I held hands.

"We finally have a familly." "She could have had three more uncles." "It's all my fault."

The scene of Hoseok and Namjoon being killed came back.

"Why does this always happen?"

"Group hug!" Sai Fon yelled. I laughed as I joined in our big family hug. Today was a great day.

"It's getting late Sai Fon." Taehyung told her "Time to go to sleep?" "Yeah." He said sadly. I knew how much he still wanted to play with her but it was 2100 "You need your rest." I said "It's been a long day." "Okay." "Goodnight Uncle Jiminie, and Uncle Yoongi!" "Goodnight!" They called back.

I carried her to her room and Taehyung tucked her in "Love you Sai Fon." We both said "Love you too." "Goodnight, sleep tight, don't let the bedbugs bite." He poked her nose and she laughed. We left her room and I sighed "I love you Taehyung." I back hugged him and rested my head on his shoulder "I love you too." "We should go to sleep." "Yeah." "Goodnight." "Goodnight."
