A Love Story

Pake III

Jake's POV.
I have been feeling a little sorrowful after she had rejected me, I didn't ask her anything but I just felt like she rejected me. Maybe she'll reject everyone who comes in her love life. The rain had stop and we went for a walk around town.

We walked around clothes shops and then I asked her...
"Pipes? Are you going to the black & white ball?" I asked
"Nope, I don't feel like it" she said
I didn't want to force her into going but I really did want to see her in a dress.

"Come on, all our friends are gonna be there" I said
"nobody has even asked me yet" she said
This was the moment I was going to ask, but.... What if she really rejects it? She wants us to be just friends. Better not ask.

"Somebody will, eventually" I said
"You really want me to go?" She asked
"Yea" I nod
"Okay" she replied
I turned around to hi five bradley but just to realize he wasn't there, so I tuck my hand in my jean pocket. I would always high five him if there was something to to be happy about or goals.

"Let's go dress shopping, come on!! you too!!" She suddenly shouted out
She ran to the store nearby which sold dresses, just girls stuff. I didn't mind.

I followed her in, and she was holding a long black sparkling dress.
"What do you think?" She said
"It's nice" I said
"I'm going to try it on" she said heading over to the dressing room

A few minutes later, she came out in the dress. She looked stunning with the long black dress on her, no words came out on my mouth, not at all.
"So?" She asked
"You're beauti- " I gulped "it's beautiful" I finished
"Really" she had a big smile on her.

After that, she had brought her dress and decided to help me with my suit. We came across a store with tuxedos and formal suits. We went in there.

We has got a suit which I was trying on, it was just a tuxedo and I was trying to tie my tie. Piper came to helped.
"Here" she came and held the tie and folded it, doing whatever. This was the first time we have ever been closed to each other and it gave me butterflies, I blushed. Then after that we both looked in the mirror.

"You should go with Paris" she said
"What?" I said, cluelessly
"I think she likes you" she laughed
"Nobody likes me" I replied
She burst oh laughing
"Everybody loves you Jake, don't doubt that" she said
She had her hand on my shoulder

"You think anyone will ask us?" She asked.
