They walked back to their table, Anna was leaning on Tom for support and he looked at her worrie in his eyes. "Are you okay ? You know they were lying right ?"
"Yes of course, I knew that the whole time, Tracy hadn't needed to go get you". Anna looked sternly at her friend.
Tracy smiled apologetically, her temper had cooled down by now. "Okay I might have overreacted, but those bitches just made me so angry on your behalf".
"Thank you Tracy, I am kind of used to that kind of behaviour, but I am not used to it hurting others than myself". Tom gave her a friendly peck on the cheek, and Tracy couldn't help but blush.
Tom sat down pulling Anna onto his lap. "Now tell me whats on your mind darling, I can literally see the wheels turning inside your pretty head".
"It's nothing sweetie, just.. Just something you said, its not important". She was looking at the floor, not really knowing what to say.
Tom looked confused, then he seemed to catch on, a smile spreading on his lips. "Anna I meant what I said, I do love you".
She felt like she couldn't breathe, the room was spinning, it was to fast, how could he be so sure ? How could she know ? His eyes caught hers and finally she could breathe and everything fell into place. "I love you to".
"You looked like you were about to run away screaming". He said smiling at her, she could sense the relief from him, he had feared her reaction. She kissed him softly.
"Uh you guys are so cute". Tracy, who they had forgotten all about, was clapping her hands like a small child on Christmas.
Anna blushed and stuck out her tongue, but she couldn't help but smile, it felt like her heart grew 3 sizes, this wonderful, beautiful, sexy, intelligent man loved her.
"Actually I wanted to ask you something". Tom was playing nervously with a strain of her hair, seemingly nervous.
He was getting Anna all nervous and worked up as well, and she looked at him sceptically. "What is it ?"
"Well you see, I got this big premier in London in about 2 weeks, and I would love for you to be my official date, it would mean so much to me". He looked at her making puppy dog eyes.
Anna wasn't sure, she kind of wanted to, but at the same time she thought of the fans, the photographers and all the big movie stars made her nervous.
She didn't get a chance to answer before Tracy screeched. "You mean the Avengers premiere right ? Oh Anna you have to go, for me please".
"For you ? What do you get from me going ?" Anna was looking at her best friend like she had gone completely bonkers.
"Because it is the next best thing, when I can't go, at least you can then tell me everything". Tracy was looking at her pleadingly.
Anna looked from her best friend to her boyfriend both of them where looking at her like her answer was the only thing they cared about, and she couldn't help but giggle a little. "Okay okay, when you gang up on me like that, but please stop looking at me like that. I'll go".
Tom pulled her into a big hug, kissing her softly just beneath her left ear, whispering. "Thank you, I can't wait to show you to the whole world".
They decided to call it a night, and they walk Tracy to her apartment. After saying goodnight, Tom put his arms around Anna. "Should I call a taxi or do you want to spend the night with me ?"
Anna kissed him passionately entwining her hands in his hair, he happily kissed her back, he didn't need any other answer.
