ADAM glanced at his sister who was standing beside the glassy wall in his office and looked at outside with arms around her body. There was no smile on her face ever since she accidentally met James and his wife inside the elevator this afternoon. Her mood had been ruined until she spoke less with him and their father during lunch.

Adam knew what was playing inside her mind by just looking at her dark facial expression. From the beginning, he knew the idea of using Elisa to destroy James's marriage life wouldn't work. So he never expected any successful outcome from this useless plan. Adam looked at his sister after heard a heavy sigh escaped from her mouth.

"Why are you sighing? Have you realized that you will never get him back and this stupid plan is totally wasting your time? He will never look at you because he loves Nadine so much," Adam said straightforward because he didn't want Elisa wasted her time on James. Elisa looked sharply at Adam with flaring nose while her blood boiled with anger and jealousy towards Nadine.

Not even once in her life she was jealous with other women because of men but Nadine had hurt her pride by making her felt so. Adam's last statement hurt her the most because it was true. Elisa didn't want to acknowledge that James had fallen in love with Nadine too deeply although she had seen it with her own eyes.

"Did I just say the wrong thing?" Elisa clenched her lips upon hearing his sarcastic question.

"Everything between me and James might turn different now if Dad didn't ask me to break up with him," she still remembered that her father asked her to end everything with James and seduced Tom after discovered his bad relationship with late Johnny. Elisa was also surprised after knew that he was an unwanted child to late Johnny. No wonder he didn't talk much about his father in front her and his friends.

"You shouldn't regret or blaming Dad now. I knew that you really liked him back then but you knew yourself better than me. You loved his money more than him. That was why you agreed with Dad to break up with him. I'm not talking nonsense right now, am I?" as if Adam could read her mind, he quickly defended his father.

He wasn't taking on Mr.Andrew's side, but he just wanted Elisa to stop blaming on other people. It was true that Mr.Andrew asked his sister to seduce James, and she agreed to do so because of money. Elisa liked James's wealth more than him, so she also left him because of money.

"But I can make him look at me again," Elisa straightened her body and looked at her brother with confident, but Adam responded by smirking. He knew that she was popular among men but her target wasn't an easy man to win.

"You want to do a bet? I bet that James will never look at other women but Nadine. She is different from you. I heard that she didn't know about his true identity when they got married," Elisa clenched her lips after heard that Adam seemed defending her love rival. What was so good about that woman until she deserved the love from James?! What was so special about that woman until it was so difficult to make James looked at her even a glance?!

"Why are you on her side?! Don't tell me that you have fallen for that woman!" she angrily accused Adam, and her accusation tickled him so much. Adam admitted that Nadine was closed to his ideal type, but he didn't like her as a woman.

"I just want you to wake up from your dream. Just forget about getting him back because he will never fall for you again," he made the things clear and advised Elisa to give up on James. He is a man, so he knew James better than his sister. As man, he could see that James loved Nadine so dearly and only had his eyes on his wife.
