A new chapter

Chapter 7

(Elizabeth's POV)

I stretch when my mom come knocking on my bedroom door.

"Honey you up?"

"Yes mom."

"Oh by the way. You have school. Your father and I can't home school you."

"Wait! What! Mom i do not speak russian! Those kids will laugh at me!"

"If they do we will set them straight. Now go get your new clothes and get dressed!"

"Yes ma'am..."

I get out my room and to the laundry room grab them and put them on. Wearing black skinny jeans, a purple tank, my black combat boots, (from my dad)and a tomboyish jacket. I zip up the jacket and go to the bathroom. Brush my teeth and comb my hair, put on eyeliner and lip gloss and then head to the living room.

"You look pretty! Now honey you did say she didnt have uniforms right?"

"Yeah babe i think so."

"Mom! Dad! They will tell me weather or not it is okay! Chill! Now...may i go to school....." i shake my head in disbelief i had just asked to go to school. They smile and my dad stands up.

"Alright honey come on."

It takes probably ten minutes to get from my house to the school. When the roads are clear of snow.

"So we had to shut down the slopes..."

"What why!?"

"We need the area to train recruits."

"Oh its fine it is not like we use the slopes everyday for my freedom...."

"You've only been here a few days..."

"Yeah and soon only two years then we will move again."

"why are you so-"

"Look we're here......" I get out without saying bye to him. I walk in and everyone is wearing all the same uniforms. Ugly tacky uniforms. Dad lied. Great. Now I really am the loner! I walk to the office and speak all the Russian I now. It is enough to get me around.

The front desk lady points down the hallway and she says 'door on the left' in russian. Great this will be fun. When to the door, the class is empty. Except three kids, two Russian girls and guy. Great. I walk to the teacher. Telling her in again the only Russian I know that I am new. She understands and points to the desk in the back.

I go sit and pull out my journal. Starting writing a new book. About "my" travel here to Russia.
