We walked hand and hand through vaguely recognisable hall ways. Everything was white, so clean and perfect. Not a mark in sight. My hand gripped tighter as we got closer to the end of the hallway. Two large double doors were quickly approaching; warm yellow light was streaming through the small windows on them. Just before we reached the doors a women in a white coat appeared. A small smile was on her face and she nodded towards Devon, whom was still holding on to my hand very tightly with no sign of loosening his grip. I liked it in a way; no one had ever held me with such care and comfort before. Strangely I felt protected. Once we reached the pristine white doors Devon stopped and looked at me "Before I fully take you into my care you must know why you were here in the first place. Niamh you're different to everyone else, not in a bad way but you needed protecting and that's what these people did for sixteen years of your life. Now you are old enough to be released it's my turn to take care of you" He explained, by this point I was very confused so I just nodded knowing that I felt protected with him and I trusted him. "What is going to happen now?" I asked letting my very curious mind fill with questions "All will be revelled later. For now all you need to know is that you're coming home with me." I blinked not feeling the need for a response "Oh and I almost forgot, here take this and put it on." He handed me a black oversized hoodie, most likely one of his own. I did as he asked and placed the hoodie over my head. I pulled the sleeves over my hands and the large hood over my head. I could only just see as the hood came part way over my eyes. Without noticing Devon has done the same and was re-joining our hands. He then pushed open the doors to reveal the world for the first time (that I can remember) to me.

The car ride was peaceful. Devon was focused on the road as I soaked up all the beautiful sights of the outside world. It was so colourful and vibrant. I loved it! We began to slow as we reached some stop lights (Even though I had been locked up I still had a knowledge of the outside world and A* schooling). Devon's car was slick and black, smelt clean and fresh. I could almost taste the fresh berries that I was breathing in. My senses were going wild. We were still stationary when Devon reached over and placed his hand on my knee, sparks flew through my body. "I know this must be a lot for you to take in at the moment, but I promise everything will be explained when the time comes" Devon moved his thumb over my knee to comfort me. I stayed silent, this was all too much for me right now and I just wanted to rest. My confused mind began to feel weary as I slipped from reality into a deep slumber.

 (Devon's Point Of View)

I had just pulled into my drive when I turned to look over at Niamh. She had fallen asleep, so peaceful and beautiful. I pulled to a halt at the top of my drive and turned off the engine of my black Land Rover. She didn't move and inch. I smirked to myself thinking what a heavy sleeper she is. Pulling out my keys I stepped out the car taking a short stroll to my large, wooden front doors. Taking the correct key form my hand, I placed it in the large steal lock and opened the doors. Leaving the key in the lock I broke out into a light sprint. Opening the passenger side door she was still dead to the world. I placed my hands under her back and legs and scooped her out of the car. She was so light. Like a perfect little feather that I needed to protect. I pushed the door to and walk to the house. Without bothering to shut the doors I made my way up the grand staircase. Entering one of my many grand bedrooms I placed her small figure onto the bed. 'I must protect her' I thought to myself and with that I walked out of the room.
