"Laser what?"

Sans looks at you as your smirk grows even more after hearing the skeletons confusion.

"Yep, it's pretty fun. Plus your looking at a the best player right now."

You gloat as much as you can to try and impress Sans, although it doesn't do much. The skeleton has seen the unseeable but you don't know that yet.  Papyrus had joined along with you guys, happily following behind as you walk towards the building.

"Human! I can't wait for you to meet Undyne!"

Papyrus had invited his friends as well; you weren't one to make friends, but ever since you met Sans and Papyrus it didn't hurt to give it a try.

Papyrus was chatting up at storm of how brave and great Undye was and her relationship with Alpys. You couldn't help but smile at how enthusiastic Papyrus was. You occasionally peeked over your shoulder to see if Sans was immersed in the conversation as you were but only to be slightly disappointed to see he was quite occupied with his cellphone.

"Hey Pap!"

A sudden voice cut Papyrus's sentence short, you turned to see a tall built fish(?) like woman with gorgeous deep red hair and a wide toothy grin. Behind her a small timid and shy yellow dinosaur(?), she quietly waved to us as in saying 'hello'.

"Human! This is Undye! Behind her is Alpys!"

Papyrus gently gripped your wrist and tugged you closer to them.

"hello, it's nice to meet you both. I hope you guys will enjoy tonight's game."

You sounded so formal, it hurt hearing yourself.  You were so scared, not scared that they were monsters but scared of making first impression.  Sans heard your unsettling formal speech and snickered, you would've acted out but you didn't want to make a bad image for potential new friends.

"So... You guys ready?"

You lead them inside the building full of bulging eyes full of wonderment rather then fear.  You head the occasionally whispers of 'woah look monsters' or 'oh my god, we are gonna play with monsters'. Then again you hear whispers about how you were with monsters and sometimes hear that you were cute, or maybe you were just to caught up in the attention that you made yourself hear that.  Well whatever, you actually liked the attention and so did the group, well Sans was pretty indifferent about it, everything actually. Can never read him properly.

"Human it's pretty dark in here."

You turn around to face Papyrus,

"It's part of the game, well we haven't even entered the area where you play the game."

You went to the register to pay admission  afterwards you and your group fill into a little room with a bit of dim lighting; there you guys were given the instructions and rules. Get shot, your out momentarily until you come back online. Get the most amount of people out and your name can make it up on the screen. You were so pumped, you turned to smile at Sans, but what you do you know on his phone again. Sheesh. When did monsters become so technology dependent? I mean they just popped on the surface like daisies two years ago. Well whatever, you can't wait to smoke his ass-- uhm tail bone to show him your so much cooler then his stupid phone anyway.

After the instructor was through with orientation, a door behind them slid open gaining a ooh's and ahh's all around.  The group trickled inside the room which was full of neon light gear. You overheard so many people as they began to excitedly gear up about how cool they are playing with monsters and that if they could actually be pretty good at a game they probably never head of before.

"Is this how you put it on..?"

Sans came to you with his gear all wrong, you couldn't help but laugh.

"Aw come on kid, this is a bit embarrassing."

Sans playfully laughed under his breath.

"Fine I'll help you."

After he was all set you looked up to see the neon light was a teal blue that shined across his skull and his gleaming smile.
You gave him a quick thumbs up trying to distract your mind and geared up.

"All right players, here we go."

The room echoed, then silence as a huge door opened to darkness and little dabbles of light here and there.

"Human...? Are we...?"

Papyrus whispered to you sounding a bit intimidated.

"Yes, we are playing in the dark."
