You made it home soundly, it wasn't far of a walk more like two houses down from your apartment surprisingly. Thinking about it more you began to realize that Sans knew you lived close to each other before you did. You slumped into your couch, your hand resting over your eyes, it's barely 7 am but you feel exhausted. Your mind is pretty blank at this point and time, everything you could possibly feel right now isn't happening, more or so you are emotionally drained.

You lay in complete silence, feeling nothing.

*RING RING*
You fall out of the couch in a desperate attempt to answer it.

"_________, I need you to come in today. It's Mother's Day, we have a bunch of orders coming in so I need as much help as I can get."

You answered her saying that you coming in, regretting the words that came out of your mouth instantly.  You sure are a masochist.

Work is really really REALLY busy. Everyone is just flooding in for flowers non-stop. At one point you ran out of roses, and everyone started going straight for carnations. It was good though, kept your mind off unnecessary subjects like "Luke", what an ass.  You never once looked at your phone, hopefully you weren't missing any important calls.

"Hey daddy, I think mommy will like these flowers."

The tiny child's voice caught your attention, she sounded just like you when you were young.
You watched as the father brighten up to the idea, of course he would be stressed.

You don't wanna mess up on your spouses gift, next thing you know he'll be pushing up daisies.

You laughed mentally, good one.

The child picked out a small potted flower and walked over to the counter to where you stood waiting. They reached over the counter to place it in front of you.

"This one is for my mommy."

You chuckled,

"Good choice. That will be five dollars."

The child looks wide eyed at you then turns their head towards their dad.

Whispering loudly,

"Daddy can I have five dollars for moms flower?"

You can't help but let out a laugh along with the dad as he hands over a fiver dollar bill to the child who gives it you with endearing smile. Once paid for they grab the potted plan and grasp onto their dad's hand as they skip out of the shop with feeling of accomplishment. You feel your chest flood with warmth, despite everything that happened this weekend, the day was ending on a happy note.

*BEEP BEEP BEEP*

Again you fall out of bed, geez when will you ever get it right? It's Monday.... Somewhere out there someone is screaming no but here you are picking yourself up from the floor. It's time for you to head over to your college campus, the semester is going to start again soon, and you haven't registered for classes yet; good job. Registering classes at home sounds good but you want to consult with a counselor first before picking randomly classes that pique your interest. You grab your phone from your night stand, it's 9 am. You yawn, gotta get moving sometime.

The campus is bustling with people who know what they want to do with their life while you were at home a few minutes ago deciding between shoes or sandals.

You find you way over to the main office asking to set up an appointment with a counselor. Everything appeared to be moving smoothly. College campus wasn't so bad after the hoard dispersed, you saw that at a certain time the quad was full of clubs and other events making it lively. It was a change from just attending classes and leaving right after for work.

You are suddenly bump by a on going student, making you drop some paperworks you received from the main office.

"Oh, geez. I'm so s-sorry, lemme me help you with that. "

They were holding a bunch of books which they just dropped in the moment to help you pick up your scattered papers.

"Here you go."

They handed you the papers carefully making sure not to drop them all over again.

"Thank you."

You said as you took your papers, they scrambled for their books as fast as they could and took off disappearing into the crowd.

"Huh."

Walking towards the direction of the parking lot you grab a seat on a bench designated for the bus stop popping in earbuds. Other people start to crowd around the stop as well then flowing into the bus along with you once it arrives. You manage to grab a seat by the window in the back, causally listening to your music.

"Mind if I t-take this seat?"

You turn to look at the voice coming through your music, it's the same guy again that helped you earlier. You nodded as they settled himself into the seat beside you. You focused back at the window, trying to avoid a conversation as much as possible.

"Sorry about your papers earlier. I was in a rush."

You nodded. They stopped trying to talk to you, since all you did was nod as their conversation. Finally your stop came up. You squeezed past them making your way out of the bus.

You take in a deep breathe once off, you are across from the park again. You look around, not realizing you were unknowingly searching for a certain skeleton and his brother. Your heart sank a bit when you didn't see any sign of them. Looking at your watch you noticed it's one o'clock, you still got a long day ahead of you.

You decide to take a seat at the park, it's a nice day out and you have to hours to spare before your night shift at the Underground. Another nice sunny day, you walk around the park and notice a ice cream cart near the playground. Tending the ice cream cart was a blue bunny monster, upon closer inspection the cart reads "Nice Cream", cute play on words. It was a sunny day, and pretty warm so why not? A nice cream would be pretty nice. Stop your so lame, Sans must be rubbing off on you.

"You would think the surface would like nice cream more then when it was underground...."

The bunny monster is mumbling to himself as you come closer.

"Can I have one nice cream please?"

You ask hesitantly, not wanting to upset the stressed out bunny, he looks at you suddenly bright eyed.

"Of course! Finally a customer!"

He scrambles to get you one, you pay him the amount and thank him. You make your way to a bench in front of a pond that had ducks and ducklings all around.  Your nice cream was sweet and refreshing, not to mention it put a pep into your step. Magic, huh.  Finishing up, you stood to throw the stick and wrapper away when you opened up the wrapper to see a cute message.

"You look beautiful."

You giggle to yourself, you must look like a weirdo to people passing by as you try to contain your sudden happiness. From a ice cream wrapper, yup it's official you totally lost your mind.
