Lily was considered the runt of her pack.
Nobody saw her as anymore than the ugly duckling but she was more than that. She was a caterpillar that hadn't changed into the butterfly she was meant to be. People insulted her, pushed her around, excluded her from pack activities and sometimes just ignored her completely. She takes it all in until one day she gets fed up and leaves planning to return when the time is right.
