Before we start, I just wanted to say that I did change the cover and the title for this book. It used to be called Befriending The Bad Boy so please don't get confused because you're definitely reading the same book. But anyway, please enjoy and vote. :)

I struggled to keep my cool even though my mind was ordering me to. I mean, how could I when the boy I almost suspended, is striding towards me with the most aggravated expression on earth! Not to mention he's the bad boy of the entire school.
With every step he took, my heart rate increasingly pounded. I knew what powerful people could do and I've felt their punches and their kicks, but I didn't want to be included on Chase's bad side.
He finally reached me, leaving a suitable amount of space between us, and that's when I realised why every girl would fall for this boy, taking a close look at his face. Chase's tousled, brunette hair fell smoothly in different directions, but still managing to maintain the amazing appearance. His beautiful hazel orbs shone with an indescribable glint, that could capture anybody immediately. His nose was at
straight and perfect along with his full, rosy pink lips. I couldn't help but notice how prominent his high cheekbones were and how he was clenching and unclenching his defined, sharp jaw.Chase's was absolutely mesmerising.
I fought the urge to stare at how tall and bulky he was compared to me but I quickly snapped out of my ridiculous thoughts when he spoke up.
"What are you doing here?" He asked, in his rough, yet smooth, deeply attractive voice. Intimidation seeped through me after hearing Chase speak, as a fiddled anxiously with my fingers and looked around to prevent eye contact.
I squeezed my eyes shut and let the words escape my mouth. "I'm really really really really really sorry that I nearly got you suspended, I know you didn't deserve the detentions you received so I'm sincerely apologising for my wrong doing. Please please, forgive me and if you want, you can hit me to make it fair and sq--" I was suddenly cut off by him.
"Idiot, shut your mouth, please." He emphasised the word "please" in a sarcastically annoyed tone, however I closed my mouth, fearing he would do something.
"What are you doing here?" Chase repeated his question.
"Um, I'm going to be participating for the female's 10om race." The words poured out of my mouth so carelessly before I could stop them. His hands balled into fists and his lips pressed into a thin line, showing me his irritation. No no no, what have you done Claya? Cried my subconscious.
"No you're not."
Agree with him, Claya.
"Yes I am."
What are you doing?!
"You're definitely not, idiot."
Yes yes, listen to Chase, come on.
"Yes I definitely am." I finished.
I hate you Claya Chester.
Unfortunately, after my battle with Chase and my subconscious, there was a long pause of awkward silence between us, until Chase sighed hopelessly and ran his fingers through his chestnut brown hair. "Fine. I'll only let do it. If, you time me with the stopwatch." He eventually answered. I grinned in response and nodded my head eagerly. I took the stopwatch from him and ran over to the end of the track, where 100m supposedly ended.
