Screams filled your ears. Your screams. Zukos screams. Aangs screams. Visions of Aang getting shot. Zuko shooting you. Xing dying. They filled your mind.

How could you?

"AGHHHHHHHH!" You screamed. You had just woken up in a cold sweat. Where were you? The last thing you remember is Zuko shooting you with fire. You looked behind you to see a nasty scar on your back. The last thing you remember feeling is hatred. For Zuko. You were in a bed. You recognized it. It was your old bed from when you were a servant in the fire nation. You got out of your bed, put on some clothes and went out the door. You stumbled a bit since you weren't completely healed. You needed to find someone. Some one who could tell you what the hell was going on. You wandered the halls you bumped into Ty Lee.

"YN! Your awake." Ty Lee said. Surprised.

"Well yeah, I've only been out a day." You said.

"More like two months." She said.

"What! No no no. I couldn't have been out that long." You said.

"It's true." She said. "You and Zuko have been un-banished. Iroh is in prison." Ty Lee said.

"No." You started crying. This can't be real.

"What's even worse is Mai and Zuko are dating now." Ty Lee said. You started crying even more. Ty Lee wrapped you in a hug. The two of you went back to your room and continued your conversation there.

"How could he. He constantly said I was beautiful. He always wanted to talk to me about if we were going to date or not." You cried.

"I know." Ty Lee kept hugging you. You looked around your room. You saw your glider in the corner of your room. At least they let you keep that.

"I can't believe Zuko shot me in the back." You said.

"I can't believe it either. I always thought he liked you more than Mai." Ty Lee said. Suddenly Zuko walked in.

"She's awake!" Zuko said. Ty Lee put her arms around you protectively.

"It's fine." You said. "I can handle this." You stood up from your bed.

*Zukos POV*

She looked at me with such hatred.

"How could you do this to me." She said.

"I was confused. I still don't know who I am. I don't know what's going on." I said.

"How could you shoot me. How could you date Mai. I used to think you were better than this. Now I don't even consider you human." She said. That really hurt. Where did I go wrong.

"I've been dating Mai as a distraction. I knew you wouldn't be happy with me when you woke up. I'm so confused." I said.

"Talk to me when your not confused. Until then, Get. The. Hell. Out. Of. My ROOM!" She yelled at me. I walked out. I heard her crying immediately after I got out. It was so painful. I should be happy. The girl I love had finally woken up. The girl I thought loved me now hated me. Why was I so cruel? Why was I so stupid. All to get approval from my father. I risked her life. And now I'm dating somebody I don't even love that much. What happened to me?
