School.
Everybody's prison.
Especially mine.
I walk in, ready for the name calling.
Vanessa and her group come towards me.
Here comes the punching and name calling.
"Hey fatso, ready for your daily beating?" She said
I've been used to it, so I just do nothing.
Nobody knows about this but Adam.
The group punches me in the stomach and kicks me in the leg.
Once they were done, they left, probably to go blame me for no reason.
I take out my phone, to check my schedule.
My first class is cancelled.
We can still go, but we just don't do anything but use our phones.
I walk to class, with people calling me 'Pig, loser, fat, fatso,' anything you could think of.
I finally arrive to class.
First one, thank god.
If I'm the last one to walk in, the name calling starts.
If I'm the first one, I'm pretty much invisible.
I sat down in my seat and I turned on my phone.
I go on Instagram, for no reason but to look through it.
I went through random accounts and did random stuff on my own account.
I only have 180 followers.
And they're not my friends.
I don't have any friends.
My followers are random people.
I go to my home feed, to like other posts.
The first post is from Adam.
The Glambert love.
His picture was a meaning for 'Respect'.
I read what he said.
'I just heard a really sad story today. We should have respect for everyone. Different or not, we can be their friends and they can be our friends. We all have problems in life and others need to respect that. And help others. Understand their problems. We all have the power of love. We don't need the power of hate. None of us need the power of hate.'
What he wrote, made want to cry.
I click the comment button and wrote him:
'Adam, thank you again for listening to me. What you wrote, made me want to cry. People need to learn the meaning of respect. The meaning of love. The meaning of friendship. And lastly, the meaning of hate. Hate makes you lose friends. Hate is the worst thing to make you lose your friends, family, possibly lover. Thank you for listening to me again.
~ Amaris'I posted my comment on his picture.
Waiting for him to respond, which I doubt.
I turn off my phone and close my eyes.
*Ding Ding*
The sound of my phone went off.
I turn on my phone to see that Adam responded to me.
And he followed me.
Adam Mitchel Lambert just followed me!
My life.
Adam wrote me:
'You are absolutely right, Amaris. Nobody should treat you like that. Or anybody. People can be stupid. And they're stupid to treat you and everybody else like that.'
'I agree.' I wrote Adam back.
Other Glamberts have been reading our conversation and been agreeing with Adam and I.
About five minutes later, I received a DM.
I open it to find it was from Adam.
'What's your number? I know, I sound like your stalker.'
'Gosh, Adam. You're killing me lol.'
'Please? I'm actually making pouty face.'
I laughed.
Loudly.
It caused everybody else to look at me.
I gave Adam my phone number.
And before you know it, we started texting each other.
Then we started doing 20 questions.
Then telling stories about ourselves.
Besides what I told him earlier.
It feels good to talk to somebody that you're starting to trust.
The warning bell rings.
Again.
I look at my schedule and see I have Math class next.
Ugh.
Math.
I really do hate that class.I pray that it is cancelled.
First one to arrive at the class.
No teacher.
Could we have a sub?
I also pray that we don't have a sub.
I want to use my phone!
More people walk in.
Academia, the nerdiest girl AND kid in the school, sits next to me.
OK, nobody ever sits next to me so that's new.
Math please be cancelled.
And Adam, can we please talk right now?
