You opened your mouth, letting out a soft sigh before pressing your lips together once again in a line.

You were currently in the cafeteria along with the pack who are enjoying things at the moment but you weren't.

You stared longingly at Stiles who has his arm draped around Malia, smiling and looking at her like she's his world.

You've been in love with Stiles since the 4th grade. Yes, you were too young at that moment but you felt it. You felt what they were currently writing in the stories. You thought that it was cheesy and they were overreacting but you regret thinking those words when you felt what they wrote.

You felt warmth and joy spread throughout your body as you stare at him. You actually thought that you have a chance with him but look at it now, obviously you don't.

"Y/N?" You blinked a couple of times before snapping your head to the side, looking at Scott.

"Are you okay?" You nodded, forcing a smile before looking down at your food, sighing once again.

You looked up once you heard Stiles laugh. It was one of your favorite sounds like it makes your heart burst with happiness.

You shook your head, trying to push your thoughts about him at the back of your mind, getting up then leaving the cafeteria as soon as possible.

You didn't have a chance with him because both of you are just best friends, nothing more.
