Obi-Wan POV (the whole time)
All right, I thought to myself, Let's go over what happened.... Anakin turned to the Dark Side. Padme had twins, but was killed a month later. Luke and Leia were taken and seperated, one on Alderaan with Senator Organa and the other on Tatooine with Owen, Beru and me. Sort of. Gaiana is here and Satine is gone. Like everything else, she faded. Her once beautiful face was tinged with the pale color of death. Or not. It was worse not knowing whether she was alive or dead. She could be anywhere in the galaxy.
Gaiana's piercing cries echoed through my igloo-shaped dwelling. I sighed and walked over. Gaiana was nearly eight and she hadn't forgotten.
We were running. Satine by my side. Nothing wrong except for the imminent crisis of the galaxy. They were running towards Naboo cruiser that Padme had left. Poor Padme. Well, she wouldn't need it anymore. I ran up the entry ramp, Gaiana on my back and Satine holding my hand. Until...
I couldn't bear think about it anymore. I stopped walking when I found Gaiana curled up in a ball and crying her eyes out. "MUM!" she screamed, "Where's Mum?!" She was swallowed up by another wave of sobs. I sat down beside her.
"I know, sweetie," I consoled, "We really need her now."
Gaiana stopped crying and let her legs down from her chest. Her brow was furrowed and she gave me an evil look. Oh, was that the wrong thing to say? I thought. She slowly turned her head towards me. Her tear-stained eyes were squinted and bloodshot. "THEN WHY DID YOU LEAVE HER BEHIND?!" she shouted. She jumped off the ledge she was sitting on and stormed off. I reached out to call her back, but I didn't. She would just be more sad. More broken. It's cruel, for a child to grow up without a mother, I wallowed in my sadness, NO! Stop thinking like that! We'll find her, whatever it takes.
I breathed in deeply and ran my hand through my hair. It's going to be hard, but everything is going to be alright. Maybe...
