Chapter 3

~Riker's POV~

"Wait Mandy!" I heard Ashtyn yell but Mandy ignored her. Mandy pushed me to the ground. For a "small" girl she was really strong. She leaned down and slapped me.

"What the hell!?" I exclaimed and tried to get up but she placed her sneaker firmly on my chest holding me down.

"I think I'm the one that should be asking you that question!" She yelled and slapped me again.

"Stop that!" I yelled.

"How could you just tell Ashtyn that!? That you don't want yours and her child!? Your impossible!" She screamed and kicked me. Ashtyn luckily came to my rescue and pulled Amanda off me.

"Amanda stop." She said and I could tell she was having a really really hard time keeping herself together.

"No this douche deserves it!" Amanda screamed.

"No... He doesn't... I get it... Who would want a stupid no good girl like me... My mom even chose giving me up over taking the medicine she needed to get better! So how could I expect the guy who got me pregnant and who I'm in love with to love me back and want me?! I shouldn't have!" Ashtyn exclaimed and ran back to the truck sobbing.

A wave of guilt flooded over me and I wanted to chase after her but wasn't sure of what to say or how to say it. I looked up at Mandy fearfully.

"I hate you," Mandy said simply be kicked me in the face.

"Hey just because you and Rocky haven't grown the balls to tell each other that you like one another doesn't mean you can treat me like this," I blurted out and Mandy narrowed her eyes. That's when she gave me the Mandy look. And when Mandy gives you her look you better be scared.

"You think I like Rocky!?" Mandy exclaimed.

"It's obvious," I said.

"Yeah right! I don't like Rocky that way! Trust me! He's my brother not my boyfriend! I would never like Rocky that way!" She yelled and that's when someone just beyond Mandy cleared their thought. It was Rocky.

"Sorry for interrupting," Rocky said softly and Mandy turned around then back over to me.

"Great. Just. Great," she said through clenched teeth. She huffed and stormed off into the woods just behind me.

"I'll go talk to her," I mumbled and Rocky just stood there speechless and sad.

I chased after her until I finally...

"Amanda Eileen get back here!!" I exclaimed and she just about killed me but I threw her over my shoulder and carried her back to the truck. I put her in next to Rocky and got back in and started to drive again.

Ashtyn was really really quiet and that was starting to worry me. She was just looking out the window listening to music and silently crying. I put my hand on her thigh to try and comfort her but she slapped it hard.

"Ow!!!" I yelled and stopped the truck fast.

"Don't you treat me like that because your pissed at me!" I yelled and she looked at me scared. My hand had raised and I guess she was afraid I was gonna hit her.... Great. Just. Great. I sighed and she scooted as close to the door and as far away from me as she could.

I looked in the rear view mirror and Mandy was sitting there with her arms folded pouting.

"Can switch spots with Ashtyn?" Mandy asked out of the blue.

"Please," Ashtyn answered quickly and I pulled over. Mandy and Ashtyn switched spots and I rolled my eyes.

"I saw that," Mandy sharply spat and she glared at me.

"Good," I smirked and she smacked my arm leaving her hand print brightly tattooed onto my skin.

"Ow," I said through clenched teeth and went back onto the road.

"Good," she mimicked me. I looked in my rear view mirror again to look at Ashtyn but all I saw was her asleep and Rocky crying. Wait! Rocky's crying!

~Rocky's POV~

I seriously couldn't have been anymore stupid to think that Mandy would like me back! She was perfect and I was me. Sure I may be a frog but all she had to do was kiss me and I'd become her Prince Charming. But no! She probably had feelings for some other guy. Bigger. Stronger. Funnier. Just better than me in general.

I was starting to fall asleep and I did until I felt the truck swerving and we fell into a lake... I felt Riker pull me out but i only saw Amanda when we got up to the surface.

"ASHTYN!!!" Riker screamed and dived down to try and get her he was having a hard time but he finally got her out. She wasn't breathing but Riker was taking care of her so.... My head whipped to where the truck was.

"Our stuff!" I exclaimed.

"It's right Here." Mandy said motioning to a pile of our stuff.

I heard Ashtyn start to cough and Riker hugged her tight.

"Do.Not.Touch.Me!" Ashtyn yelled firmly and pushed him away weakly.

Riker clenched his palms and stormed away.

"I'm not even going to try anymore," he told me.

"Neither am I," I agreed as I watched Mandy help Ashtyn and Ashtyn return the favor.

"What do you have to worry about?" Riker asked me.

"Mandy doesn't love me back. She told you," I said and Riker rolled his eyes.

"Don't worry about it. I'm sure she does she was just really mad at me," Riker assured me.

"I don't know. I'm not even in her league. She's defiantly way out of mine," I replied and he sighed.

"Women," he mumbled and I hate to admit it but I agree.

"Excuse me do you want me to punch you?!" Ashtyn yelled to Riker. Riker went ballistic. It's like his hazel eyes turned black.... He ran at Ashtyn and pushed her to the ground before slapping her 4 times while holding her down.

She screamed but by the forth hit the shock kicked in and she passed out. When she did Riker jumped back shocked.

"N-No Ashtyn......." Riker started to sob and pulled her into his chest.

"I-I'm sorry..." he whispered into her hair while kissing her head repeatedly.

Mandy was getting really to kill Riker. I ran to her and pulled her to me holding her tight so she couldn't escape.

Riker was full on sobbing
