Honestly, Freddy considered himself incredibly relieved. You didn't freak out, scream, or even try to pull away for that matter. He was still kneeling in front of you, heart going a mile a second, wondering when you were going to pull your hands away from him.
For the time being, the bear simply enjoyed holding them.
He chuckled lowly, and removed the hand from the side of your face. "What are you thinking? Hmm?"
You didn't respond for awhile. Freddy began to worry; were you going to freak out after all? He wanted to hold onto you tighter, but he knew better.
"W-Well... it explains a lot," you finally replied. "About the... "advanced technology", I m-mean. There's nothing advanced about it, is there?"
"You don't intend to try to get away from me?" Damn, why was he asking that? His mouth and his brain weren't cooperating. Or maybe being so close was turning his mind to total mush?
"Freddy, I was never afraid of you. This is... s-strange, yeah, but... maybe I'm in denial and it hasn't hit me yet?" He laughed a little bit again, forcing himself to let your hands go.
'Augh, no, no, why did I do that? If I reach for her again, I'll look foolish! Why did I let go?! ... what if the others come here, wondering what the hold up is? Maybe I should have put them on standby... and I don't know how long this idiot will be passed out for... I... I have to...'
Freddy's thoughts ran wild, and you didn't see the rapid changes of expression in his now-currently-human face. Thank god for that.
But the bear realized he would only have this one chance, and that he'd better do it quick. One arm reached out, leaning against the wall you sat by, his free hand taking your face again, raising it just a bit under your chin. "Freddy...?" you asked quietly. "What...?"
"Shh," he insisted, sounding much closer than before. He hesitated again.
'AAUUUGH! JUST... DO IT. BODY, COOPERATE WITH ME.'
The bear gave in at last, bringing your lips to his. He probably would have blacked out if he wasn't so focused on the kiss, and then how stupid would he have looked?
Was it stupid now? Kissing you? Were you going to freak out at last? He couldn't tear away this time, eyes closed tightly, afraid of what he might see if he opened them.
Softly, almost unheard, you made a kind of delayed whimper. Freddy's heart nearly stopped; was that a good or bad sound?! But you pressed a little closer, and though his eyelids were shut, his eyes rolled back.
You weren't going to pull away, after all.
Removing his hand from the wall, the bear got up enough courage to cup your face in them, sighing heavily from his nose and tilting your head.
Where the hell was this coming from? He was terrified of telling you the truth, and here he was kissing you the way he'd hardly dared himself to think about.
'Maybe I'm... asleep? Am I dreaming? For the love of Fredbear, nobody wake me!!!!'
His brain was fuzzy and useless, but the body he was in was needy, hungry for still more contact. Once he'd opened that gate, the floodwaters must have rushed. Freddy pushed gently, holding your head back against the wall. You made that sound again, that whimpering; were you asking for more? Or to be let go?
Either way, the sound could have killed him, right then and there.
Opening your mouth slightly, you pressed back, deeper. He gladly held you there.
'Damn, damn, damn! I'm moving too fast, this isn't--'
"So you finally made your move, huh?"
"It's about time! What took you so long?!"
"Captain, ye lookin' a wee bit faint, there. So it be that good, aye?"
Freddy immediately pulled away, leaping to his feet and charging at the three giggling, running robot-turned-humans. "I WILL DISMANTLE ALL OF YOU!!!"
*****
You sank into the chair, your brother still unconscious on the floor, someplace. You would have moved him but you were certain to have bumped him into something. He was never exactly fearless, no matter how much he pretended to be.
Sitting silently, fingers at your mouth, you listened to the running and screaming from the party room. Freddy sounded pissed. And he definitely couldn't catch any of them, but by the sounds of chairs and even tables falling and clattering, he was giving it his best shot.
He'd kissed you. You didn't know if you wanted to believe that he was human, but your heart had already accepted it as fact.
But... he'd kissed you.
And god damn if you didn't kiss him right back.
You realized at last that you'd moaned into it, and your face burned in an instant. Shit. That was embarrassing...
Footsteps approached the office again, and you froze, unsure who it was. They could all turn human, right? The running sounds were too quick and light-footed to be anything less.
Panting, the figure stepped into the office, stopping in front of you and leaning against the desk, making it squeak. "I... ah... for... forgive me, I... had... to..."
Freddy. You practically jumped from the chair into him, faceplanting his chest and wrapping grateful arms around him. He was so much warmer than you were used to, but it was definitely him.
The body heat was nothing compared to the blood in his face. "Are you a-all right...?" he stuttered. You just nodded, arms snaking around you to return the sudden hug. "I s-see."
He never stuttered. At least, his voice box wouldn't allow it, as much as you could recall. But hearing that deep voice stumble over words... you grinned into his suit.
With a long, loud groan, your brother began to stir at last, sitting up and rubbing his temples. "The fuck am I on the floor...?" His eyes blinked open a few times before they registered what he was seeing:
That fucking bear-man-thing holding you!!
"Get your fucking hands off of her."
"I-I'm fine, don't worry," you piped up. You were too comfortable where you were, and you felt Freddy's grip on you tighten, bringing you closer still.
"Bull. Shit. That fucking freak better not--"
"I am not deaf, boy," Freddy spat back.
"Deaf, no. Dead, very much so, if you don't release my sister."
Freddy smiled. He couldn't help himself, and the uneasiness in the boy's face was wonderful. "She came to me. If I intended any harm, I had plenty of time while you were unconscious."
Your brother panted through his nose. As much as he hated to admit it, Freddy was right.
The bear's face softened a good deal, only putting him more on edge. "You do not trust me, nor I you. But I will tell you this much: she is in good, loving hands here. She will never be harmed, whether you get involved or not."
If only you could see the expression on your brother's face. " "Loving hands", Fazbear?"
"A-AHH... I... ER..." Oops. The giggling against his chest only made things worse. From the corner of his vision, the other three were spying.
NOW things were worse.
