Letters

(Well guys...we are now on book two of The Savior Series. A lot has happened and a lot more is comin! I hope you guys enjoy the first chapter of my second book!❤️)

(Mira's P.O.V)

Even though four months has passed, they still haven't stopped sulking.

Team Natsu returned to the guild with heavy hearts after their long mission. They told the story to us about everything when arriving to Aria. Such battles were fought and so many unbelievable things has happened at that time. It was hard on us when they came to the part about Lucy losing her exceed.

And falling into a deep depression.

I thought to myself still thinking about the sad story, until the guild doors open with a burst. "A letter has arrived from
Lu-chan everyone!" Levy announced waving the letter in the air. All the guild members jumped out of their chairs to snatch the letter away from the poor girl. "Hey! I got it first so I read it first! Cut it out Max!"

A dog pile was appearing with Levy on the bottom of all the people. I giggled at the sight before turning at the table seeing Team Natsu still looking at the wooden table with sadness.

'They miss Lucy so much. I wish I met Teral so I could have known him.'

Laxus walked up to the pile of people looking down at them. Everyone stopped squirming when Lightning Dragon Slayer took the letter away from Levy. "Oh come on, Laxus!" Levy shouted, still stuck under the pile. Laxus came over to the bar sitting down in front of me, handing me the letter. "Here. Just announce the letter so we can stop all of the loud bickering." I grabbed the letter, thanking Laxus for giving it to me.

I left the bar to get on the stage so I can read the letter to everyone. "Alright now quiet! Quiet!" The members settled down after getting out of the jumble of people on poor Levy. "I know you're all excited to hear Lucy's letter, so if you stay quiet then I'll be able to read it!"

I opened the letter seeing only one paper fall out. Strange, she usually has two or three pieces of papers in her letter. I picked it up; unfolding it to begin reading.

Fairy Tail,

   I know you were expecting to receive my letter earlier this week, but I was caught up on some business in Aria. I'm doing better than before and is also learning more about my Goddess powers.

   Yes the city is finally rebuilt back to the way it was. Only this time we added a pathway through the Forbidden Woods for people to pass through safely so they won't fall asleep for eternity.

   I know you all remember that in my last letter I said I was coming back home this week, sadly something has come up so, I can't return until two weeks from now.

  Send my love and will be back in two weeks.

The guild was silent hearing the bad news. Some of the members glanced over to Lucy's team still holding a dark cloud over their heads. Moments later lightning was heard outside with thunder crying in the distance.

"The rain has returned again." Juvia mumbled, putting her hand over her chest. For some time now ever since the team came back it has always been raining for weeks. It would usually stop for a few hours until starting up again back to how sad it was.
