(Lucy's P.O.V)

Master and I entered through the portal when the scenery I knew from heart came to view. The same blue sky, the green luscious grass and the air that was filled with Light magic.

StarLight.

"Welcome to the Realm of StarLight Master. This is where all magic of Light stays and is balanced." Master stepped forward amazed at the beautiful view. The portal vanished moments later when both of us were here. "Lucy...it's astonishing."

"Thank you Master. When I need to escape from EarthLand, this is the first place I go to. I wish to begin speaking about why I've been gone for so long." Master nodded, following me until we stopped and sat down. The old man had trouble sitting from the height of the grass, eventually succeeded sitting after his embarrassing moment with the green weeds. "Master, do you know about the Dark Ones?"

"Well...Erza informed me that they were people that held a connection to Dark magic." I shrugged with my eyes wandering away. "They weren't connected to the Dark magic Master. Only one of the Dark Ones were. That was Zelroath, their leader. The others were humans who wanted to find power and dominance to show true power. In exchange they gave their souls to Zelroath."

"Then how does this explain of you staying in Aria?" Master asked with confusion. My shoulders sunk with my eyes looking down to my lap.

"There's another Dark One Master."

Master's pupils contracted to tiny little dots as he stiffen from my news. "What? But you all destroyed the Dark Ones! There shouldn't be any left! Do you know who it is?" My hand went over my bandaged arm deciding whether to show him or not. "Master...you're looking at the Dark One." I unraveled my bandages as the dark veins came to view for the both of us. The veins were growing slowly upwards near my elbow as Master gasped sharply to see my veins. "B-but how-"

"Zelroath was created by the Gods to balance Darkness. When Seraphina brought magic that held Light, they realized that the balance was off. They needed to create another power to balance Light so the Realms wouldn't go into chaos. That's when Darkness came with Zelroath the Keeper and Guardian of Dark joined. Darkness was never meant to become evil, but Zelroath wanted more power and grew his magic until a realm was created by nothing but Darkness. He became to strong and went mad for more need of Darkness. That's when Seraphina and Zelroath fought." Master shook his head while waving his arms. "Then how are you a Dark One child?!" I forced a sad smile on my face, knowing that he knew it was fake.

"The Gods decided to create a new host for Darkness. My existence is nothing but a fraud...a lie. I was only meant to become the next Dark One when Seraphina would kill Zelroath. But, Seraphina felt my presence and became scared of what I could do. So instead of killing Zelroath, she sealed him away and gave me the power of Light, connecting it to my soul. My true self was locked away in the pits of my conscience with that also being sealed away as I soon realized that I was now a human. The small memories of nothing but the shadows continuously giving me the power of Darkness was sealed away and I was birthed to my Celestial mother Layla. The truth is Master, I was never meant to exist in this part of time. I was supposed to be reincarnated when Zelroath died by Seraphina. Instead, I killed him. Making me the last being to hold the balance of Darkness in me."

Master swallowed air; trying to process what I just told him. "Then...how come you're not like a Dark One?" I grabbed my bandages, wrapping them around my arm again. "It's because I haven't answered the Calling yet. The Calling is when the Darkness and Shadows persuades me to go to the Midnight Realm to release the Darkness I hold in me. If I do that, then the little light and good I have left will fade as the power of the Dark takes me. Which is something else I also wanted to talk to you." I took my keys off my belt, handing it to Master.
