Gray

I arrived to the ruins of my old home after days of traveling. The weather was snow gently falling from the sky as I scanned remembering how Deliora destroyed my village and killed my parents. How I met Ur and Lyon after she took me in.

Until she sacrificed herself to save me and Lyon's ass because my need for revenge...

"Alright, what am I looking for?" My shirt and pants were gone, leaving me in shorts as I was looking around searching for my talisman. I crouched to search under debris, dug under the snow around areas, climbed on top of buildings that were about to fall apart, yet nothing was accomplished after hours of my search.

Am I even in the right area?

"Adroath said that our talisman would be where the darkness moment in our life happened! So why the hell cant I find it?" I kicked some of the small rocks away thinking carefully over my memories. This is one of my darkest memories, my parent's lives were taken away from the demon as he took away my home. Then Ur came and found me taking me in and teaching me the ways of Ice-make.

After awhile I left when I heard Deliora was close to me so I can finally have revenge. I of course was easily defeated until Ur came and fought for me, losing her leg in the process...and then she used Iced Shell. Giving up her life for mine and Lyon's after he tried to do Iced Shell for her. That woman was my only parent that I had since I lost my own.

I sat down on a large destroyed debris, cupping my face in my hands. One of darkest memory was when Deliora took away my parents, but Ur is gone because of me. It was my fault that she's gone.

My darkness memory is when I lost my mentor...

"It's 'bout time you figured it out." My head shot up seeing Ur sitting next to me, her legs crossed and arms holding her head up. "I've been waiting to talk to you Fullbuster, almost three months in fact?" Ur chuckled to herself of how my expression was. Utter shock to see her sitting next to me. "Ur?" She opened her eyes while putting her arms behind her to lean back. "Well who else do you know that's named Ur? It's a strange name if you asked me."

"You're here. You're...really here!" Ur smiled sadly, her eyes now on the snow falling to the ground. "I wish Gray, but I'm still dead. The only reason I'm here was because of Lucy to test you if you're actually ready for your talisman." My happiness was gone the second it came. The ice in my heart froze again when I stood up, my hands clenching tightly. "So, this is Lucy's doing?"

Ur nodded answering my question. "Sorry Fullbuster, but you can't bring the dead back to life, unless if there's a powerful Mage to do such a thing. Which is why you have a choice." My eyes that were shadowed came up. "A choice... For what?"

Ur sat up from sitting on the debris. "Two choices. You can wish for me and your deceased parents to come back for one day, or receive your talisman that will defeat the Dark One." I already knew what I wanted. I could have my family and mentor back. I can make amends with Ur and see my mom and dad again, even for one day, I can be with them again! "I wish-"

"Before you answer Gray, I want you to know this." Ur strolled ahead of me going over to where gravestones stood, some with names as others were unknown. I followed Ur standing next to her. "A graveyard?" Ur sighed crossing her arms. "These people were killed during the attack, am I correct?" I rubbed the back of my neck not liking where this was going. "Y-yes."

"And do you think they wanted to die?" I shook my head having a terrible feeling in my stomach. "Gray, some people are not given choices to either live or die. It's the way of life for everyone to die when their time is over. That's how fate and destiny work. I know you Gray Fullbuster, and the decision that you're going to make is wrong. People who are dead are meant to stay dead even if you begged to have them back. You know you need to make the right decision, and your doing it wether you want to or not. So do it before I have to slap some sense into you..." My mind shut down when my head leaned downward. Though I wish to have my family and teacher back, she's telling me not to do it.

But why?

"What I'm saying is Gray, you need to let go of the past. And you need to forgive yourself of what happened. What's done is done; you can't change it even if you were given a choice. It time to let us go." Time to let them go, but I have haven't I? But if I did...then I would choose to do the right thing.

I know what I need to do. The right choice.

"Ur, I'm not gonna be mushy, but I better see you and my parents waiting for me when I die. I want to actually talk how normal people should do. Can we try that?" Ur grinned warmly, giving me a hug that I was barely given by her. "Of course you idiot. You and Lyon will be able to talk to me. I just hope to wait a long, long time until I see you two. A long life is better than quarter of a life!"

Ur was dissipating as she left a blue colored orb behind. The last thing I saw of her was watching her smile and vanishing, only leaving a blue and white orb that was glowing brightly and gave a chilling yet comfortable feeling about it. "Goodbye Gray, I'll see you when it's time."

Without giving it a second thought, I put both of my hands into the orb, feeling it enter my body and veins as a cold sensation that was freezing me inside it felt like I was burning on my shoulders and back. I roared from the excruciating pain that was swiveling and spiraling in my skin, like someone was drawing scars on me. I fell on my knees as it finished its torment. I was breathing heavily when the snow stopped and the ray of the sun shined on me. "Damn, that hurt..." I collapsed on the cool ground, falling into a deep slumber from the numbing pain coursing in my now artistic scars.

At least I finished it...

Lucy

In Crocus, Kingdom

I was destroying the throne room punching and smashing everything in my sight. I kept screaming from rage and fear because of sensing the third talisman being found. The large doors opened with Knight pacing to me. "Mistress, you need to calm down."

"Calm down? Those Fairy Tail scums can control weather, meaning they can also control the elements of Earth! They'll pay Knight...they'll pay for not obeying my demands. Where is that Levy McGarden?!"

"In the dungeon Mistress. Shall I set her free so she can return to Fairy Tail?" I was thinking of my plan again, feeling my villainous smirk coming back to my face. "Yes. I have it all planned Knight. When she thinks she is safe again in that guild of hers, we will have our chance. Our chance to show they had their chances to give up. But now, the only way to escape me, is by death..."

"I'll begin the preparation Mistress. In a day Levy McGarden will be back in Magnolia with her comrades. Then, we'll end her life right before their eyes. That'll make them pay for defying you." I went close to my only trusted soldier putting my hands on her armored shoulder. "And this is why I made you the perfect knight. You will never defy your Master..."
