Unfaithfully Loyal

Just got hired!

"Georgina!!!!!" Her mom used to call her with her full name if she's mad.
"It's already 8 o'clock in the morning and you're still sleeping! This is the reason why you can't get any grace with your life coz you're such a lazy stupid bitch!!"

Hearing those words again? Seriously no effect at all. Normal as it is. Georgina woke up and started fixing up her bed. She went to the comfort room, took a bath, fix herself and prepare her things.

Today is her interview at L.A Industries as a factory worker. When she was told to stop studying, she
decided to look for a job as an escape from her home. To escape from her mom's noisy mouth that doesn't speak up any good words to her. At all times.

"Mom, I need to go. I have an interview today at L.A. Industries and wish me luck. If I got the job, you won't be having a problem anymore shouting every morning!"

"You wish George. You're irresponsible. I doubt if you can even answer the questions." Her mom
chuckled. That's how she
got underestimated by her mom.

Leo never saw her potential. Even before, whatever accomplishments or achievements she got from school, her mom was never there.

She was
active in school. Name it. Dance club, choir, dramatics guild, badminton etc. She was never proud of her and Georgina was wondering why her mom kept on pushing her away. She didn't do anything wrong. She was living her life as simply as she could. She was not even asking new stuff. New dress,new shoes or even cellphone which most of her friends have.

Georgina is known to be the friendliest person on earth. She was known to be
bubbly, noisy, witty and with gazillion humor. And again, she was famous because she almost joined all the clubs in the school. Apart from those extracurricular activies, she's good with her academics. She was even the Associate Internal Editor of their school organ "The Satellite."

These things are like stuck up on her mind while travelling to L.A Industries. She never stopped asking herself," Why is mom like this to me?" I've been
doing the things she wanted me to do. To be good, respectful and kind.

Her only challenge was just to be organized  as she lived with her grandmother for the longest time and wasn't asked to do anything. Her grandmother passed away so she's back to her mom's place.

Back to reality, Georgina told herself 'You can do this girl. Prove them wrong.' upon entering L.A. Industries, one of the biggest Japanese Factory that specializes assembling DVD players on cars and accepts college undergraduates. She's been thinking, this is where I could start a new life.

Her knees were shaking, heart pumping fast and panicky to what could've happen after this. What if she will not get the job? What will her mother say? Up until this point, what lingers in her mind were the words from her mother that she was a failure.

"Adams, Georgina?", says the representative.

Georgina stood up as she was waiting for the results.

"Yes?", she said. "That's me".

A tall, blonde hair, sexy woman approached her. Her knees were shaking as if it's an aftershock when there is an earthquake. As soon as the woman closer, she was about to faint. That's Georgina. (hahaha)

"Congratulations Ms. Adams. Welcome to L.A. Industries!!", the woman said.

"Oh my God gracious, are you sure?", Georgina said with exaggeration.

"Well, if you don't want to, I can retract your name from my list.", as jokingly said by the representative.

"No, no.", Georgina said. " I just want to make sure I'm not dreaming.", she added.

" You can start on Monday. Make sure to wear plain white T-shirt and black jeans. Not tattered please.", as instructed by the representative.

"Thank you very much. You will not regret hiring me. See you on Monday then.", said Georgina.

"By the way, please call me 'George'.", she added.

Then she stepped out of the building, with a smile up to her ears at the same time dying on where and what to eat since haven't eaten her lunch due to her excitement with the results. At the same time, her money isn't enough to eat in a fastfood chain because her mother just gave her enough for the fare. And without further thinking, she just decided to go home.
