Devil loves an Angel (Gruvia)

Gray's POV

I awoke to Juvia still asleep on my chest, she looked so happy. I wish I could wake up seeing her face like that every day. She stirs slightly waking up.

"Mmm good morning Gray." She says, her hair falling in her face. 

"Morning beautiful." I say while tucking her hair behind her ear and kissing her forehead. "Can you get off me so I can make you some breakfast." She stood up half awake and nodded.

"Thank you I'm going to take a shower." She waddled out of the room then I walked down to the kitchen. What should I make for her, I know pancakes. After I finish making them Juvia comes down dressed in a simple white dress the cut of at the knee. She looked so cute I couldn't help but blush. 

"Pancakes, I love pancakes. Thank you for everything." Her voice was so shaky. It sounded like she  would fall apart any second. The events of yesterday must have really unhinged her she started to fall over. I run to her and wrap my arms around her waist to hold her up. "I'm sorry I'm just...I'm just... I'm" 

"Shh you don't need to say anything. I'm here for you just sit and eat." I lead her to a chair and brought her a plate. She was on the verge of tears but is slowly calming down. What can I do to help there must be something. 

"They taste good, I didn't think the cold and ruthless Gray Fullbuster could cook." She nervously laughed, at least she's trying to joke like normal. I have a plan to make her feel better. 

"So Juvia I was wondering if you would want to do something in town to get your mind off of everything?" I say scratching the back of my head. Why am I nervous I've asked her on plenty of dates before, but most of them were over the phone. 

"Y...yeah, could we go to the movies?" I nod and take her empty plate to clean it, "Gray I love you."

"I love you too Juvia, now just sit on the couch and relax." I go to clean the dishes, and I sneakily text Natsu and Gajeel. 

I need you two to help me out. I want to do something romantic for Juvia, so can you bring a bouquet red roses, rose petals, a box of chocolates, and candles, preferably fake (Don't trust Natsu with fire) to Juvia's house at 345 webster rd magic parkway. There is a fence at the side of the house jump it and you'll be in the backyard, spread the rose petals down the path, place the chocolates, candles (Neatly) and the bouquet on the table. Start at noon but be sure to be done quickly thank you. 

"So any specific movie you want to see." 

"No, just something funny and cute. Like a Disney movie." it's cute how childish she can be at times. At 11 we drove to the movie theater, she wanted to drive but I refused saying that a true gentleman should always drive the lady. This made her laugh, it good to see her laugh after the scare she had yesterday. A thought flashed through my mind 'it's all your fault' ignore it, just ignore it. The two of us decided to see Zootopia, it was really funny with some cool epic moments. After the move we stop at the cafe where we first truly met, other than just bumping into each other, for some lunch. I hope Natsu and Gajeel are done and did it right. We arrived at her house.

Juvia's POV

"How about we go in through the backyard?" Why, he has something planned doesn't he. 

"Okay, if you insist," I unlock the gate and open it to see rose petals scattered along the stone path, "Gray what is this all about?" I say smiling brightly.

"Well you've been so shaken from what happen I wanted to do something nice and romantic for you, so I had Natsu and Gajeel set this up while we were at the movie." That's sweet he wanted to cheer me up. He takes my hand as we walk down the path. On the table on our porch is a big bouquet of roses, my favorite and a box chocolate, with lit candles surrounding them.

"This is amazing Gray, I love it." We hug each other tightly, I never want to let go. we sit down talk and eat chocolate. The time pases so quickly we don't even notice that it has gotten dark. 

Gray's POV

"It's getting late I should head to bed," Says Juvia yaning 

"Yeah I should get going then," 

"No, can you say with me, I guess I'm still a little on scared of being alone," She is, of course I will stay with her. It's all your fault she feels this way. No ignore it, but it is my fault. We head up to her room. It's my fault she would be comfortable and happy if it wasn't for me. 

"Gray, what's wrong you seemed worried. you can tell me anything you know that." Crap she noticed what do I do now, if I say it's nothing she'll worry even more. I guess there is no way to avoid it I'll just tell her what's on my mind. 

"I'm sorry, but I just can't help but think that everything that happened to you is my fault, and that you would be so much happier without me here." I let out a sigh.

"Gray don't think like that it is in no way your fault, they wanted to kidnap me it would have happened with or without you, and if you weren't here I'd still be waiting for someone to get me, scared out of my wits. So don't blame yourself you saved me and I've been so much happier since I meet you, I love you, don't you dare doubt that!"

"You're amazing you know that Juvia," I don't deserve her and never will, "You deserve someone much better than me in your life. After all you're this beautiful pure angel, while I'm just the devil who will drag you down. I don't deserve to love you the way I do." 

Juvia's POV

He feels as he doesn't deserve to be with me. But that's just not true he is the only one  worthy of me. I love him so much how can I put his doubts to rest

"Gray, what if I don't want to be a pure angel any more." I say cupping his cheeks in my hands pulling him in for a kiss. He wraps his hands around my waist deepening the kiss. This is my plan but I'm suddenly scared and push him away. he looks sad and disappointed. 

"I'm sorry that's what I thought you wanted," 

"It is I'm just scared and nervous, and- and I don't know what to do," I confess

"Now what did I tell you," Gary says putting his hand lovingly on my shoulder, "You don't need to be scared when I'm here I will always protect you no matter what." I pull him in for another kiss again he deepens the kiss and this time I don't push him back. Instead I kiss back with more passion.
