Devil loves an Angel (Gruvia)

First date part 2

*At the park*

Juvia's POV 

We were at the park walking around the lake holding hand. His hand are cold but it's a comforting cold I want us to stay like this. Juvia you idiot he's a criminal you can't be with him, he is probably just using you for the benefit of the Fairy Tail gang. Yeah that seems right pretty soon some of his gang buddies will pop up from nowhere and kidnap you and hold you for ransom that's something those low lifes would do. But every time I look into his eye all I see is love it can't be him, but I know it is. I want to hug him and tell him that I love him, but how could I ever love a criminal. I should tell him what that I know.

"Gray..." I feel his hand cup my cheek his leaning in for a kiss I want to meet his lips but I just push him away and yell, "Gray I know how you are, I know you're Gray fullbuster. So what is this all about what is your plan what are you going to do to me?" As I yell his face falls, he looks sad almost defeated. 

"Juvia I'm sorry, I'm not the nice man you thought me to be. But I assure you that there is no plan involving you, I would never want to hurt you. The gang doesn't even know I'm here. I just hoped I would get to spend more time with you before you found out because I truly have fallen in love with you Juvia. Go ahead call your dad, I'll just run and promise to never see you again. I never wanted to hurt you." 

He turned and walked away. Was he telling the truth, I see nothing in his eyes that tell me he is lying so it must be the truth. He loves me and would never hurt me, I love him to but how will this continue. 

"Gray stop!" I yell grabbing his wrist forcing him to face me, "I love you too, when I found out who you are I was sure there was a plot behind everything. I can see you're tell the truth. I'm just confused how can I still love you." I was crying at this point, I felt Gray's hand on my shoulder comforting me. 

"It's okay Juvia, I'll leave and be out of your life forever."

"No Gray that's the last thing I want. I guess I'm trying to say that I'm okay with it. I want to spend more time with you Gray, I lov-" I got cut off by Gray gently placing his lips on mine.  At first I'm shocked but soon I find myself melting into the kiss. This is my first kiss, it's absolutely perfect I truly love this man already.    

"I promise to stay in your life as long as I can. Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes Gray yes, I would love to be your girlfriend." I trap him in a hug with the biggest smile on my face.

 "We should probably both head home. Goodnight Juvia and don't tell anyone about me especially your father." With that he left for the night. How would I be able to keep such a big secret from my dad. I had to keep it no matter what, because if my dad found out about us he would most definitely kill Gray. Not to mention how disappointed he would be in me, oh I can't bare the thought of disappointing my father. 

Gray's POV 

I skip over to the gang base because that's where we all live. I'm so freaking happy Juvia is my girlfriend and she is okay with the gang, best day ever. I couldn't keep myself from smiling, the only problem is her father if he finds out I'm as good as dead. Maybe I should bring her here and introduce her to everyone, I trust her to not tell.

"Hey ice princess what's with the dorking smile?" ugh it's Natsu why is he still awake he's usually out by 8 o'clock.  

"None of your business flamebrain go to sleep."

"It is my business, because your my friend. And you never smile especially like that." I can tell he won't leave me alone until I tell him. God he is annoying. 

"Fine if you really must know I was on a date, leave it at that unless you want to end up 6 feet under." that normally wouldn't work but since he looks so tired it probably will.

"I'll leave you alone for now, but we'll continue this in the morning striper."

"Hey ash for brains I haven't done that in years-" I look down Natsu is passed out on the floor at my feet. His is an Idiot, and how dare he make fun of me for liking a girl when everyone knows that he is 'secretly' loves that expert lockpicker Lucy. I go to my room and fall asleep almost instantly I dream of Juvia and me together.
